Spent a week in this hostel !Very nice and cozy :) Rooms very hot , loved the carpets !We were climbing around the ben Nevis with a local tour operator. Nice people in a quiet area.Restaurant is great with good menus, the bar offers a wide veriety of beers ! Awesome for after climbing !They even prépared our lunches for our hard days work !!Best place to go if your are looking for that connection with the locals :) More...

We stayed in the beautiful and very modern beach pods at The Onich Hotel, and the only word is Wow!!!!!The scenery for one is absolutely breaktaking, look at my mobile uploads just as a reference. The staff St the hotel lovely, and was lovely to know the heating in the room was already on upon oue arrival. The inside of the pods were modern, a really comfortable bed and a TV with free view too. We had a little bit of an issue with a constant water temperature in the pod, but we noticed if we ran the water in the tap as the same him this helped keep it constant and perfect temp.My only reason for knocking a star level was due to it being a Saturday night and wanting a nice dinner in, there was no dinner service available. As there is not many options in the area and too far from Fort William, it did result in a drive out to find somewhere. However, that didn't ruin our stay as I would gladly and will most definitely stay here again next year.We booked via AirB&B, however for a better price I would book direct. ❤️Phenomenal location, honestly you'll be taken back. Stayed here for four nights with Edwards Coaches. ||The hotel is quite small and family run, check in was quick and staff friendly and helpful. I'm vegan so had emailed a week in advance to ask if an alternate meal option for me would be OK, they responded quickly and assured me it wouldn't be a problem.||There is no lift so upper rooms might be difficult for those with limited mobility. We were delighted with the view from our window, one of the best I've seen. Our room was a decent size, so was the bathroom. Good water pressure in the shower and water nice and hot. No double rooms were left when we booked so two single beds were bolted together. The mattress was firm which suited us and we both slept well. The only thing was the walls are thin, we could hear snoring from next door!||The dining room has Loch side views. Food was served promptly and it was good not to worry about there being something I could eat. We had to choose our meals for the following day at each evening meal.||Breakfast was fine, I've had larger choices but it is a smaller hotel. Soya milk was provided too.||Overall, the location made for a peaceful few days, and the staff were great. I know some reviews mention the place could do with a refurbishment but this didn't worry us at all. We also had no trouble getting the wifi to work. More...

Arrived just before reception closed on a whim when passsing by and got offered a lake view room with balcony for half price with breakfast. Room was nice and clean with a stunning loch view. Dinner and breakfast were pretty good but not great. Wifi was not so good despite a router being right outside my room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some aspects of the hotels physical appearance need updating but is still perfectly acceptable the way it is. Probably not worth the full price being asked but still a good place to stay if you get a discount. Would consider it again if in the area. More...

We held our wedding at the Onich Hotel in August 2019 and you could not ask for a more perfect setting. The views from the hotel were amazing and acted as a beautiful backdrop for our wedding pictures. The hotel staff were fantastic! They were so friendly and helpful and really helped the day to flow perfectly (we cannot thank them enough). The food at the hotel and for the wedding was amazing, all of our guest were raving about the quality (and quantity) of the food and the speed in which it was provided. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, a great hoilday destination and a fabulous wedding venue- it even comes complete with a very friendly and loveable hotel dog! (We also had our dogs at our wedding who were made very welcome in the hotel and fussed reguarly in the bar - also provided with treats).||||We would just like to say another massive thank you to all the staff at the Onich Hotel, you really helped us to have the wedding we always dreamt of; and we hope to come back soon.||||Thank you again.||||Samantha and Matthew More...

We had a two night stay in the Onich Hotel Pods. Beautiful setting situated in front of loch and very comfortable stay. Pod was immaculately clean and equipped with essentials including shower hob, fridge freezer and kettle. Highly recommend.
