First class pub and hotel. Highly recommended. Very busy in the tourist season; ignore the Aidensfield Arms further in the village, unless you just want a drink, because it is pretty dire.

Only went to the cafe on the side of the building but had excellent soup sandwich and Cake. Very good quality as was the service. Near to the actual Mallyan Spout (70 foot drop waterfall!) which is well worth the short walk to see but you need good footwear especially in winter as very rocky and wet approach to the spout.
