They were absolutely amazing all day ☺️ they played an acoustic set for our drinks reception and a full on incredible set for our evening reception including our first dance! If I’m completely honest, during our drinks reception I was in such a blur I forgot we’d asked them to play and I thought it was a playlist we’d created with acoustic tracks - that’s how good they were!!! The Distance played at our wedding on 18th April after we booked them 2 years ago! In fact they were pretty much one of the first things we did book. I can’t tell you how excited we were to see them perform at our wedding after years of stalking them on Facebook and YouTube etc and they did not disappoint. They are exceptionally talented and not only do they sound great but they’re fascinating to watch perform too. Sophie was always on hand via email to answer any questions we had and it was such a pleasure to finally meet. There was always someone on the dance floor and all of our guests have said how fantastic they were. They performed our first dance song of ‘How long will I love you’ and it brings happy tears to my eyes when I think back to that magical moment. Sophie and Matt performed at our wedding. I knew they were good, they'd been recommended by a friend... but they far exceeded my expectations. They were brilliant! Their song selection was superb. Worked alongside The Distance on Saturday Night at M.O.S.I. and I was soo impressed. Friendly and happy to work with a DJ (You' be surprised by the amount who are not) . It makes both our live easier meaning the client get's the benefit. Playing different songs, differently, to pretty much every other band out there. I really enjoyed their song choice as well as how they incorporated them in to their syle. Great, both their sets.
