The Barley Sheaf

Pretty decent pub situated near the short stay car park. I ate there once i thought the food was excellent. They fairly regularly have local bands playing and it is a decent spot to rival Bunters for this (although Bunters is better positioned for this sort of thing). Beer/wine/spirit prices are pretty much standard but some of the stasff are a bit unwelcoming. Overall worth a look. More...

The Barley is just off one of the main streets behind the Cathedral in Truro, it's a fairly large bar with plenty of seating . They show sports on large tv's for most of the week and the place can get pretty busy on a weekend evening, drink prices are pretty fair with drinks offer advertised behind the bar. What keeps bringing me back here is the outside seating, that in the summer after work is a fantastic place to unwind, just listening to the breeze in the surrounding tree's and the running water of the nearby stream, really relaxing as there's also hardly anyone there at that time of day!
