What do you love most about your job?

Using my creativity, business knowledge and practical experience to produce something that not only satisfies the requirements of the brief but does so skilfully, elegantly and effectively. I love doing an excellent job., the best possible job given the practical constraints of the budget and deadline.
Building good relationships with people so I do such a great job of satisfying their requirements that they never, ever, want to use any other copywriter.
I also love putting great work on my website - stuff that I can feel proud of.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I wanted to concentrate on helping clients instead of sitting in pointless meetings and having to waste time around people more interested in playing politics than getting a great job done.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have 35+ years experience. Not 1 year repeated 35+ times. Long enough to know what I'm doing, and get really sharp, but not so long that I'm burnt out.
I understand how business works in the real world - so I'm quick to appreciate a client's needs. Although I've been doing this a while I constantly keep up with the latest trends, issues and approaches.
I'm an acknowledged expert. I was recently commissioned by the publisher of The Authority Guides series to write "The Authority Guide to Creating Brand Stories that Sell". I take my work seriously but not myself - not a prima donna, guru or egomaniac (the marketing industry has enough of them already).
