I first approached Squidgy Designs after searching on Google for local designers, and looking at their portfolio – we knew that this was the company for us.
After filling in their contact form we heard back from Andy within hours and setup a meeting. Andy sat down and took the time to speak to us about our business, and what we wanted from a logo – both now and in the long term.
When we received our first set of visuals, we were over the moon! Andy had listened to us, and really taken on board what we wanted, so much so, that the hardest part was choosing a design. When we settled on one, there was only a few adjustments to make, and it was perfect.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Squidgy Designs to anyone.

After 5 years we felt it was about time to update our branding and website and give it a professional overhaul. We previously had a basic banner website and needed to move onto a blog based site offering us much more scope for the future. We shopped around and got a few quotes and desided to go with Squidgy Designs Limited (based in Newcastle). What can I say? Working with Andy/Squidgy Designs was the easiest part to setting up my business! I knew what I wanted to a degree but Andy went through all the options and came up with the logo, full branding and web design. I wanted the branding to represent Vintage but to remain feminine and to also have an aged feel; I was amazed when I was shown the outcome. From this we were able to use the branding within the signage over the shop and on many signs throughout the interior. He worked with the sign company enabling me to have my branding wherever I needed it. The process was easy and Andy was very approachable as well as patient especially when I tried to explain what I wanted, sometimes we have something in our own heads and trying to get that over is difficult, he understood what I wanted and worked hard on producing what I can only say is brilliant.
