What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
If there is a secret then no one has told me!
I think every photographer takes inspiration from other artists work when it comes to new ideas. i'd say it's important for every photographer to imprint their own signature style to every project they take on in order for their work to stand out from the crowd - that's exactly what I try to do.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What message are you trying to express to your target audience? What would you like the look and feel of your project to be?
This can determine what direction we take the final product whether it be a dark and grungey rock video or a light, bright wedding video - or even a mix of the two if that's what you had in mind!
What do you love most about your job?
I've always found it difficult to leave the house without a camera on me, so being able to make a living out of my hobby is the best aspect about working in the film/photography industry.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having creative control of whatever project I take on has always been the most important thing to me. When it comes to film and photography and the overall artistic direction of a project I often have a very specific look in mind. Running my own business seemed like the most effective way to ensure I can always lead the way.
Why should our clients choose you?
Being attentive to detail is very important and in my opinion it's what separates a good project from a great one. I like to think of little things that make the finished product the highest quality possible, listening to my clients ideas and helping to develop them until they're satisfied.
