We had Skylark Garden Design to pave our side garden and build a Retaining wall and garden planters. Tom, Simon and Michael were very professional in their work and would keep us informed on what was going on and the progress of the work. They work really hard even when the weather was poor. Tom did an amazing job spec-ing a new fence and subsequently fitting it in our garden. The fence looks fantastic and we look forward to having Tom back in the New Year to landscape the front & back garden. We wanted to refresh and redesign our front garden in a style more sympathetic to our Georgian house but mindful of our location on a busy, shaded road. We first met with Tom with very little idea of what would work and how to approach the project. From the first, Tom exceeded all our expectations to deliver a 'ferntastic' courtyard garden that not only met (and went beyond) our brief but gave us a space that is completely 'us' and was tailored to our budget. Tom brought in-depth planting knowledge and advice combined with creativity (his sketches and 'example' plant set ups were so helpful in enabling us to visualised how the finished piece would look) but more importantly he's great to work with, completely dedicated and his enthusiasm is catching - I'm quite the gardener now! Couldn’t recommend more. We are so so so pleased with our garden. Tom has done a fantastic job from start to finish. The thorough plan he drew took into account everything we wanted and his knowledge of plants ensured they would all flourish and bring colour to our garden all year round.
