When I met Reeya I wasn’t in the best place in my life. The second I walked into her beautifully decorated office, I instantly knew that I was walking into something special. I had heard about Reiki from a friend and wanted to give this form of alternative healing a shot. I wish I discovered Reeya’s reiki and crystal healing sooner. Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that focuses on aligning your chakras and making you feel more balanced, calm, positive and happy. Before Reeya started her first session with me, she gave me insight into how she works. First, she sits down with you to ask you a few questions. She made me feel comfortable and safe. Then she makes you lie down and helps you meditate, and puts you in contact with beautiful healing crystals from different corners of the earth. In one session, I automatically felt better. She always knows what’s wrong without me uttering a word!I started getting better sleep, feeling less stressed and having more energy throughout the day. What do you love most about your job?
I am continuously amazed at the results that are achieved and the benefits my clients enjoy. I feel humbled and honored that I can make a difference to people’s lives and offer my healing gift to those who really need it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In early 2000’s I went through a traumatic time in my life; suffice to say I was beaten, battered and bruised is an understatement. The toll on my emotions, my mental health, my physical health was enormous. I dropped to just over 6 stone in weight and was clinging onto life. At times I felt suicide was the only option.
But in 2006 things began to change and I started on my self-healing journey. I discovered my religion, my faith and then healing methods. I used yoga, meditation, mindfulness, energy healing, teachings of various authors like Robin Sharma, Buddhism and self-help in general. I absorbed so much, learned new behaviors, changed my mindset and learned that we all can heal.
These events along with my desires and passion lead me to setup my own business, so I could pass on what I learned and help others heal too. After a few successful steps, I now run a full-time practice in Mayfair, in central London. The kind of therapy and healing work I do is the alternative type, and many of my clients that come to me are experiencing similar emotional and mental health struggles to mine. Some of these are very deep rooted which severely impact their lives, whereas for others its’ how they feel day-to-day, and after what life throws at them. I have also developed my own healing framework, bringing in techniques including reiki energy healing, and crystal healing along with other stress and wellbeing aids, all which help to break through struggles, improve mindsets and get them to where they want to be.
It’s been a journey that I never planned, or ever thought could happen to little ol me. But it did, and I humbled and thankful to those who supported me; from my darkest days, to where I am today.
