2 months ago, I had significant problems with the muscles around my knee - to the point that I found to difficult to walk. After seeing Ryan, I have improved massively with a tailored program of both cardio and strength and I am now fit and healthy to continue training myself (with the help from Ryan's ongoing plan). I can't rate Ryan at Pyramid highly enough. I had the GAIT analysis and it was so informative I learnt so much. Ryan gave me lots of adice on running style and strength work to do to help with an injury. It's improved significantly in just 2 weeks. He's also checked in with me regularly since. I'd definitely recommend Pyramid for any training / injury advice and improving sports performance. I can't wait for the next session! More...

I’d class myself as a regular, out of shape intermediate runner who plods at an average 8.30 minute pace. I booked in for a Gait analysis and Lactate Threshold Test with Ryan after my wife treated me to some vouchers for my birthday. I had two separate evening sessions to fit around my busy work/family life. Ryan was very patient, informative and motivating. I found both sessions useful and I’m sure they’ll come in extremely useful in helping me achieve my running goals of 2018. Would highly recommend! More...

Pyramid Performance and Health is absolutely fantastic. Ryan and his business have helped me to overcome a back injury, allowing me to return to a high level of triathlon training and competing. He truly tailors each session and overall training plan to the individual to meet their needs and requirements for their individual sport. Just completed my Lactate Threshold test - terrific job by Ryan at Pyramid. About 10 sets on the treadmill, increasing in pace every 3 minutes, with heart rate monitor on, and blood lactate testing after each 3 min set. Ryan then thoroughly explained the results, and explained how to use the data both in training and racing. Going to be really useful at the Outlaw Half :-). Thanks Ryan. More...

I visited Pyramid Performance for a free gait analysis won in a competition they held. It was so much more detailed than I had envisaged it would be. Ryan took time to explain what the analysis had identified in my running form and how I could improve efficiency and safeguard against injuries by making subtle changes. He also explained and demonstrated specific strengthening exercises to achieve the changes recommended. An absolutely fascinating experience and incredible service. Ryan put together a program that targeted the muscles that needed to be strengthened but also made them relevant to the sports I play. I am in no doubt that the 10 session program helped me return to fitness so that I could play tennis at the level I want to. He has also provided me with an on-going program of exercises to help prevent further injury that will hopefully enable me to continue playing the sports I enjoy. More...
