Pilates glasgow

I've been going to Pilates with Kerry Stewart In Glasgow's West End for quite a few years now. Can highly recommend either her classes or one to ones ! She makes Pilates fun but also tailors the moves and exercises to whatever is required... eg particular sports or injuries/areas of concern.I took up Pilates after longstanding problems with low back pain from tennis-I have had no back issues since taking it up and Kerry has taken the time to give me tips and specific exercises to do at home or before playing matches. I have no doubt that Pilates has not only helped my core stability but also sense of wellbeing and quality of sleep after an evening class . She is a lovely friendly person who makes you very welcome at any of her classes or sessions no matter what your ability . She has a variety of classes each week at different venues in the west end (including outdoors in the Botanic Gardens in the summer !...).or in town/different times of day/and also Saturdays ....and even mother and baby classes ! . Kerry is a wonderful teacher. I had never tried Pilates so had 3 one to one sessions with her at the Hyndland Physiotherapy Clinic to see if I was able to do the exercises and also if I enjoyed it. I now attend her Saturday morning classes in the Kibble Palace in the Botanical Gardens and thoroughly enjoy them and I feel so much better. She explains the moves and makes sure I am doing them to the best of my ability. I strongly recommend Kerry as a first class teacher, her classes are warm and friendly. More...

Cottiers was the most fantastic, laid back but architecturally stunning venue for our wedding. The whole team led by Erin made the day move so smoothly, and nothing was too much trouble. Just have a look at how fantastic the venue looked! I would also say that the food, drinks, canapés and facilities were breathtaking, and amazing value. We got married at Cottiers on the 24th August and cannot recommend it enough as a venue! The wedding coordinator, Erin, was amazing and dealt with our many questions and emails in the run up to the wedding quickly and helpfully. Even when we dropped off a tonne of decor items before the wedding Erin just smiled and got us excited about how pretty everything would be - we worried she would tell us to take half of it away as we had so much When we finally got to see the venue all dressed on the day it was a million times more beautiful than we could have dreamed! All of the venue staff on the day were absolutely faultless, and made sure that we, our bridal party and our guests all had an amazing day! Even helping my bridesmaid remove a blood stain from her dress before the first dance! The food and drink were also amazing - we got so many compliments from our guests! Cottiers were also so accommodating of our request for a 100% vegan wedding - some of our guests admitted to us that they were apprehensive about having only vegan food on offer, but some guests even told us it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding! I could go on and on and on about what an amazing day we had, and that is in huge part to all the staff at Cottiers and their hard work, during the planning process and on the day! I don’t even know where to start. We got married here in June 2019 and from beginning to end everything was just perfect! The venue is STUNNING and was decorated exactly how we described to the wedding planner . The staff are extremely helpful and nothing is a problem. The attention to detail is first class and they all have a laid back efficiency. Our wedding coordinator was Erin and she was AMAZING throughout the planning and on the day. My daughter and son in law got married here last Sat. The venue and the staff are amazing. Their talent in displaying all our decorations was fantastic (and we had a lot)! Not only displaying them but rearranging them during the course of the day. Everyone got their correct meal and drink choices. Food was delicious. Erin is outstanding with her attention to detail and her calm manner and gentle lovely way she guided everyone through the day. All the staff are fabulous and all know exactly what they r doing. Room set up was quick and efficient between ceremony and meal. However good we hoped the day would be we never imagined the day to be the fairy tale it was.
