I'm a Freelance Photographer who looks for a slightly different shot. I avoid doing weddings as they tend to be very formulaic and I don't think that really tells the story.
I have 10 years experience shooting gymnastics which is usually in poor light whilst 'That Image' lasts all of a nano second.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Anticipation
Understanding the sport of the event allows you to anticipate the shot and prepare for it.
The other key skill is observation and seeing that candid event that tells a whole story.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What or who make this event special?
Why?
When you leave these images to your children, what do you hope they see?
What do you love most about your job?
Capturing that moment. It happens rarely but I usually manage to get at least one 'moment' at each event. These are shots that usually break all the photography rules but tell a story.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I just wanted to do something I enjoy.
I have spent a career doing a job that had limited fun or sense of achievement.
Why should our clients choose you?
I listen, then ask questions and then listen. At the end f the day they aren't my shots, they are the clients' shots so I need to make sure I get whet they want.
