As a freelance cinematographer for many years, I worked on may different kinds of productions. I've been running my own production company, Red Paint Films for over 7 years. I love working on TV shows and commercials, but wanted to add a new aspect to my work. Having worked on many wedding shoots for some of the UKs top wedding film companies, I decided it was time to start my own business, with the simple aim of creating the best wedding films in the UK.

In the old days wedding videos were a bit... simpler. Just one person at the back of the ceremony and toasts with an old VHS camcorder. But, to be honest, the results were usually a bit... boring, as anyone who had to sit through them would agree! Many of these same videographers are still around. They may have updated their equipment a little, but the techniques are still much the same. However, because they don't take as much time in post production (editing, colour correction, music and sound design), they can offer lower prices. If that is all you are looking for, then you have a lot of options to choose from, but we are probably not the company for you.

However, if you're looking for something a little more special, that you, your friends and family will love to watch, then I'd like to talk to you about creating a really beautiful film of your big day.
