What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There is a big difference between taking a photograph and making a picture, understanding how to make a picture is what makes photographers like myself stand out. A photograph is a record of a scene but a picture conveys something more, it connects with you emotionally.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Understanding where the client is coming from in terms of their aspirations for the finished photography is crucial. I like to really understand them or their business. I would ask about their background and how the photography will be used in furthering their goals. I would also ask if they have examples of photography they admire stylistically or conceptually.
What do you love most about your job?
It is a special privilege to make your living with a camera, I love travelling and meeting new people and I love the collaboration aspect to this work. It's nice to be able to use my skills to help someone communicate.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been a freelance photographer and filmmaker since 1990, I have worked for most of the big brands in most countries at one time or another and have lived and worked in the UK, Europe and New York. Now I am based in SE London and enjoying living a more local life.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a huge and broad experience, international advertising and design clients have considered me a 'safe pair of hands' for three decades. Now that I am working more locally I am here to bring that experience to bare on your project however big or small.

Facebook now allows you to live stream video content to your profile page, business page or group page.
