I specialise in telephone and online counselling and I have been a BACP registered counsellor for 10 years and have been trained to level 6. I also supervise other counsellors and receive monthly supervision myself. Mindworks Christchurch is my trading name.

Cancellations with over 48 hours notice only attract the room charge.

I have a person centred ethos which means that my values include empathy, genuineness and respect. I work in an integrative way, including CBT, working with thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I have worked with individuals and couples on issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement and the suicide of loved ones. I have an understanding of issues arising from childhood, and trauma. I have found that the therapeutic relationship of trust and rapport between client and counsellor is key to the process. I recommend a minimum of 6 sessions, an average of 12 sessions and up to 20 sessions or open ended, depending on the nature of clients’ issues. Every 6 sessions I carry out a review with the client to make sure they are still benefiting from counselling.

My standard fee is £40 per 50 minute telephone or online session. In person sessions from £50.
