Mike was our wedding videographer in August 2021, the videos he delivered were exceptional and he captured our day perfectly.
However, what we valued even more was that it was a real pleasure to have him there on our day, he along with our photographer went above and beyond to not only capture the day but contribute positively to the experience of the day itself, a view that was expressed by multiple guests too. I couldn't recommend Mike highly enough.

We can not begin to express how grateful we are to Mike for capturing our special day. We didn’t originally plan to have a videographer, but after various people telling us we really must we soon changed our minds. From the initial conversations Mike was so easy to talk to & he quickly put us at ease about being filmed. Mike filmed our wedding in Rayleigh, Essex, July 2019. We were very hesitant about having the day filmed, however we are SO happy we did! Mike was friendly, easy going, unobtrusive and professional. A lot of guests commented on the fact that they didn’t even notice him on the day! The footage he took from the prep stage, right through to the party stage of the day was great – he really did capture some very special & funny moments! Mike also organised drone footage of our wedding venue, which was a windmill. To say this footage was stunning is an understatement! We received the trailer video the week after the wedding – which was amazing, and then the further two videos arrived very quickly too! The trailer and short feature films completely encapsulated what our entire day was about, and we just can’t get enough of watching them! Anyone considering having a videographer on their special day should 100% consider Mike and definitely have their day filmed – it is such an incredible keep sake of the day! Mike created the most beautiful trailer, highlights film and feature length film of our wedding. I was anxious about getting the day filmed initially because I felt a little embarrassed but Mike couldn’t have made it more easy. Most of the guests didn’t even realise we had a videographer there but somehow he managed to catch all the important bits and so many little moments whilst being subtle and unobtrusive. He then put it all together beautifully. The day after the wedding, I felt so relieved that we had made the decision to get it all on film because I just wanted to relive the day again and Mike’s footage did not disappoint. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The best photos are the natural ones! When people are captured candidly then the story of the wedding day is captured at its best. I would consider myself a documentary photographer with an artistic and classic twist.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I love to get to know my future couples, if you are considering booking me, I love to have a chat to get to know each other.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to tell the story in both video and stills of the most important day in my couples lives. It’s literally such an honour to be included and play my small part !
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have loved photography and film making since being a child, starting my own business seemed to be the natural progression

Wedding Photography
My approach to wedding photography is to be unobtrousive. So much so that often during the day, you will forget that I am even there! I have had couples ask after a wedding how was I able to be everywhere but apparently be nowhere!
This approach allows me to document your day naturally. The smiles, laughs & tears are all totally genuine and by adopting a candid approach, the raw emotion and true story of the day is captured forever.
Shooting alone I use my experience to search out the special moments and using dynamic composition, dramatic natural lighting and depth I am able to bring the pictures to life. Timing is key when shooting a wedding and that comes with experience, knowing where to be and when and when to release the shutter to capture the perfect shot.
Wedding Videography
I have been filming weddings since 2018 and just LOVE shooting your day to film. Whilst photography captures beautiful moments of your day, its video that really does bring the day back to life and allow you to re-live it forever.
When I shoot video for you I adopt my usual candid approach so as to capture people at their most natural, I use multiple angles during the ceremony & the speeches so as to be sure to capture everything.
Only video will allow you to truly re-live all the emotions of the day, it becomes even more precious as time moves forward when you are able to see and hear loved ones who shared your day that may not still be here.
Due to my shooting technique I am able to offer both videography & photography together or individually.
Hybrid Wedding Photography & Videography Combined
The professional Sony mirrorless cameras that I use are just as at home shooting video as they are taking photos. In addition, my camera set up also allows me to film and photograph simultaneously for the moments such as walking down the isle.
Added to that, I also use several other very small static cameras hidden away to film from multiple angles. Technology, combined with artistic vision and experience are all mixed together to provide you with stunning images and beautiful films, all of the quality shown on this website.
The combined photo & video premium package provides you with all the photos I would normally (400+) plus a full ceremony film from start to finish, a full speeches film from start to finish and a beautiful cinematic 3-5 minute Highlight film.
Hybrid Wedding photography (as its often known) is becoming ever more popular in the UK following its launch in the US a few years ago.
I use several cameras during the day to achieve this but always ensure that they are discreet and barely noticeable allowing you to enjoy your day knowing its all being captured in both stills & video!
