We paid for drawing and calculations. The service was terrible, the staff rude.
We paid £1300 for pretty pictures that mean nothing.
I hope the owner is never allowed to rob people of money again!

Good at first, paid in full for loft extension package. Received the initial plans, submitted to planning dept.
Not delivered party wall notices, not received engineering or building control. Now have gone into liquidation.

Paid for full drawings was told our P.D. Rights had been removed by Kevin to then find out 4 months down the line they haven’t so wasted 4 months on a wrong application being submitted. Service is appalling, Takes ages to speak to someone, admin is rubbish, Kevin is never free to speak to unless money involved. Never ever use again or would never recommend to anyone. Kev @ KJM Architecture & Consulting Ltd helped me get out of a fix with plans not meeting the local council criteria.
Explained the issue, sent him all the correspondence and with in a day or two I had my plans all done and ready to submit.
Even contacting Kev for guidance and slight modification was never a problem. Highly Recommend his services.

Initially, the service was OK but then it changed. It took ages for planning permission to be granted because the Local Council they were not getting replies to their letters. By the time I checked, the Local Council had assumed I didn't want to go ahead. Finally, I am going ahead with the build, only to find that they should have supplied me with hard copies of plans. I have now e.mailed and telephoned twice and they have not come back to me. I have had to spend £82 having my own plans printed. I feel they have taken advantage of me because I am a senior citizen who has no knowledge of the building trade. More...

Plan sets were posted out on numerous occasions with no response from client. Finally client confirmed receipt of printed copies but demanded more copies which was not included in our agreement with her. Instead of paying for these she has decided to procure them elsewhere however we would of provided these for £2.50 per sheet so I’m not sure why she paid £82 for them. Furthermore the Client was informed of requirement of obtaining building control approval on numerous occasions however never responded to us. It has been a very frustrating experience overall - We have even gone the extra mile by assisting her builder who was having difficulties on site due to the client deciding to proceed with a build that does not reflect what was approved in the planning drawings. Which begs the question as to why she is even having printed plans. A very unjust review. Incredibly disappointing. However we wish you every success with your build. We are on hand should your builder require any further assistance.

KJM designed our loft conversion back in March. We needed 2 new office spaces, as both me and the wife now work from home. Kevin divided the loft conversion into a total of three rooms. 2 spacious offices and a playroom for our 6 year old daughter. This allows us to all work and play on the same floor of the house during peak season. KJM really takes your individual needs into consideration when designing the plans. Highly reccomend. More...

Our eldest daughter (15 years old) was in need of some space of her own. My other children are quite young in comparison (5 and 8). As the loft was full of nothing but clutter we decided a conversion would make better use of the space and add value to our property. When I contacted KJM about my loft conversion, I was not entirely sure about what I wanted. I knew I wanted an extra floor to give my teenage boys a bit more space. I told Kevin the purpose of the extension and he put together a great design. Both of the boys have their own bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms - meaning no more arguments for the bathroom.
