How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Your garage should be structualy sound. Most conversions can be done without planning permission but it is advised to check prior.

Firstly the structure would be assessed. Secondly utility's, water if needed, heating and electrics depending on the clients needs, windows to replace garage door. then insulation of walls, roof and flooring, Then decoration to clients requirements.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Depending on the type of loft conversion required. You may need planning permission, again the structure should be suitable and structualy sound.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
The scaffolding would be erected. The roof removed (depending on type of conversion) new steels installed (RSJ) for new floors, new steels to support new roof, build the new structure including roof windows, then utility's installed electrics, water, heating ect, then the extra bedroom or office or bathroom can be installed and the decoration.
