My talent is flexible and adaptable, allowing me to illustrate in different styles as well, including realism, fantasy, expressive, abstract, cartooning, comic book, and children's books.

Describe your creative process.
My creative process starts with establishing and agreeing upon the total parameters of a project according to the exact preferences and specifications a client may provide. I then use my imagination to visually envision potential designs, layouts, versions, variations, etc. Afterwards, for an illustration I will start to sketch so eventually a form, an appearance, a style will organically start to take shape and provide direction for a finished piece. I take a somewhat similar approach to designing with digital software on the computer. I select, experiment, and play with colors, fonts, shapes, layout, etc. This organic approach easily lends itself to creativity, discovery, and usually finished design.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I always request a client provide as much information as possible regarding all details, preferences and specifications of their project. This is a necessary process that assures the client receives an honest and informed price estimate that is fair and reasonable, as well as receive work that they find acceptable and are satisfied with. It also mitigates and reduces the need for changes, edits, and redesigns.
What do you love most about your job?
The sheer creativity and originality that my job demands. I must use my imagination on a continuous basis. I cannot stagnate or be lazy. It is rarely the same thing day after day. Hardly any repetition or routine, even for clients that you may always work with. My job requires and demands the very best of my artistic talent and design skills at all times, for every project and every client. There are no intermediaries, liaisons, or other staff or personnel between the client and myself, thereby making my business very personal and direct.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business so I may earn my living using my natural born artistic skills and talents to provide these services to those professional clients who may have use for them. Starting my own business necessitates me to create a ubiquitous online presence as a legitimate business, thereby allowing me to market, promote, and network my creative services on a global basis. This expands my potential to acquire clients, business, and projects outside my town, city, village, and country. I also wanted more creative control, direct communication and collaboration with clients, be my own boss, and work where and when it was convenient.

Each medium is unique because they demand a separate approach and application of my artistic talent, making versatility my primary asset. My talent is flexible and adaptable, allowing me to illustrate in different styles as well, including realism, fantasy, expressive, abstract, cartooning, comic book, and children's books. My children's book illustrations are colorful, bold, creative, dynamic, exciting, and can be utilized to great effect to capture and ignite the attention and imagination of children and young readers.

I design with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to create and produce custom logos, icons, posters, flyers, and advertisements according to the exact preferences and specifications of clients.
