What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
People look great when they are relaxed and putting people at ease is a skill that I pride myself in.
This means I don't have to rely on more forced pr posed photographs and instead I can capture honest, natural, happy moments
What do you love most about your job?
It sounds corny, but I love people and I love seeing people happy. I consider it an honour every time I am asked to be a part of somebody's wedding.
In wedding photography, you only get one chance at capturing the events of the day, there's no do-overs. Some people shy away from this challenge but I thrive on it. It's exhilarating to be so 'in-the-moment', aware of my surroundings and the people around me, watching for a telling glance between the bride and groom, a look on someones face, any little moment that helps me to tell the story of your day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted the freedom of working for myself, and I'm lucky to be making a living doing something I love. It's still work, but it's work that I find stimulating and rewarding.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I'm not doing wedding photography as a stepping stone to something else, I'm in it for the love. Because of this, I truly care.
On your wedding day, everything seems to happen so fast, it all goes by in a blur. After so much preparation and anticipation it can be dizzying. Looking back over your wedding photos will remind of so many little moment that might otherwise have slipped away. This is why your wedding photos are so important and why it's so important that you ire a photographer who is truly dedicated to their work.
