About

I have been creating beautiful interiors for the past 18 years, and I pride myself with a friendly, approachable attitude and meticulous attention to detail which I never compromised.

I have drawn from a wealth of experience working for many industry greats such as Kuan Chew, Mary Fox Linton, Martin Hulbert and Hill House Interiors.

Q&A

1. Initial client / designer meeting in order to fully understand the client's requirements, brief, budget and expectations.
2. Submit an inyterior design fee for client approval.
3. Upon deposit payment (usually 25% of the interior design fee), I will commence work. Depending on the project this may involve initial General Arrangement layouts to ascertain a harmonious flow throughout the project, including furniture and lighting positioning, or an FF&E Presentation for example illustrating fixtures and fittings requested.
4. Meet with the client to present (3) and revise if necessary.
5. Items can be procured on behalf of the client, where I usually pass on part of the trade discounts that I have at my disposal.
6. Suppliers and installers can be arranged to suit the client's requests.

I tend not to follow fads or fashions as these can tire quickly. I can adapt my style to suit most genres, although timeless and elegant design with a hint of modern luxury tends to be popular.

Every project is different and I never know what is around the corner. I have worked on projects such as; The Freemasons Headquarters in Holborn, The Law Society in Chancery Lane, The Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair right through to Cocktail Bars, Restaurants and Private Residential projects..............a complete array which is great to keep me on my toes.

I am an ambitious individual, and after working as Senior Designer, followed by a Design Manager for two award wining companies, I felt the time was right to move forward with my career. Having autonomy of design is very rewarding, as to is having flexibility of time and of course being my own boss.

Many Interior Designers specialise solely the soft furnishings, whereas I don't.
I can produce internal layouts, furniture layouts, lighting layouts, bathroom elevations and specifications, shell and core specifications, as well as the fixtures, fittings, loose furniture and soft furnishings. Working from concept to completion allows more coherency for the end product.
I am very down to earth, approachable and friendly.....................not all designers are like laurence llewelyn bowen!
