Jim Litchfield Motor Engineers Ltd is one of those rare garages that is completely surrounded by houses and therefore is a hub for the locality in their motoring needs. They're always busy and even though the forecourt is fairly large, parking in the surrounding roads maybe necessary. All the staff are very friendly and approachable. All work is explained and pricing very reasonable and transparent. Professional, courteous and you get to know the mechanic that services your car. Great service, sorted out a wheel bearing with no notice despite being really busy. Started as a DIY job, they pressed the old bearing out, which I couldn't manage, and then put the new one in for me which I didn't ask them to do.
