Artificial Grass Installation
Spent a substantial amount on artificial turf. Unhappy from the start, a very visible line running right across the middle and a very obvious small piece stuck on at the edge that was lifting up at the side and most unsightly. Was told the line would probably "fade" and that he had fixed the small separate bit. Six months later the small piece looks even worse and the line is as visible as ever. Furthermore actual grass is somehow sprouting through from beneath, all over the turf, despite there supposedly being a membrane laid to prevent this. We have advised Mr Stenhouse of this and given him ample opportunity to make good these problems but he has ignored us. So much for his promised "5-year guarantee". I'll be looking for other sites where I can post photo evidence of his workmanship. More...

How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for 10 years this year. I began by working by myself and I now have 4 employees as well as carrying out work myself.
What guarantee does your work come with?
All work is guaranteed for five years from the date of completion which covers defective materials and workmanship.
What do you love most about your job?
I like a challenge and the best reward I can get is the reaction of the client on completion of the work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I'd been contemplating working for myself for a number of years. I have over 30 years experience in the construction industry but I was too afraid to take the first step. In 2008 I finally plucked up the courage to do it and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made!

We try to work closely with every client in order to create a finished product which meets with their expectations. Our focus is on quality at a reasonable price and all our work is guaranteed. We pay attention to detail and ensure that the finished product is what the client was expecting.
Fencing
All types of fencing work undertaken from a simple picket fence to security and sports fencing.
Paving
We undertake most paving work including natural sandstone, granite cobbles, concrete moulded paving slabs, monoblock and shuttered concrete.
Walling
We carry out all aspects of walling including natural stone, brick and blockwork. We can also construct steps either with brick and paving slabs, precast concrete and brick/blockwork.
Concrete Bases
We lay concrete bases for sheds, summer houses, garages and agricultural buildings. It is normal practice for us to use steel reinforcing in the process in order to support the structure and prevent cracking.
