A belated thanks to Fin and his It’s Covered team for the fantastic rope and pole marquee they set up for our wedding in Crickhowell a few weeks back. Fin and his guys worked tirelessly to make our daughters wedding day brilliant! Firstly overcoming overhead power cables! Then setting up everything .Marquee,flooring , dance floor,tables and chairs! The lighting supplied was also first class! Our day was brill with this first class product and service! So we were lucky enough to stumble upon its covered Website whilst looking for a marquee for our wedding reception and right from the first conversation With fin I knew i had found the right one! Not only because of how magical and different his marquee’s look but also how friendly and helpful he was! He made the whole process relaxed and easy, and was always on hand with advise with any queries and my numerous texts and questions were never a problem! Fin, ted and his team were quick and efficient when getting the marquee up and dismantling it, with minimal fuss! We had the fairy lights, foliage and up lighters in our marquee and once we finished decorating the end result was just breathtaking! It really was The most impressive marquee i and all our guests have ever seen! And I know it will be talked about for a long long time, it was such a statement! And something we will all remember! Saw a business card for marquees in the local fish and chip shop, which was quite lucky as I was looking for a wedding party I wanted to arrange for my daughter and son in law. I rang Finlay to arrange a site visit to the location, him and his team arrived and were very polite. The marquess looked stunning after they had finished, for the night time Finlay provided fairy lights and up lighters which were perfect. He also had a dance floor available, which tied in well with the band we had stationed at the back of one of the marquees. What do you love most about your job?
I am a man who lives to be outside, recently the National Trust made me one of their 'outdoor ambassadors'. With It's Covered Marquees I have THE BEST job - I am outside all day, every day! The locations we go to are beautiful, the people we meet are entertaining and the work we do is physical - keeping us fit! My team are great to work with, they are diligent and hardworking. We love meeting new people, especially those who are excited to celebrate! We want to provide our clients with an incredibly fun, memorable event and nothing stands out more than one of our marquees!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started as a self employed personal trainer working across Monnmouthshire, working for It's Covered every Summer season since 2010 and becoming Site Manager within 2 seasons. When the opportunity arose to captain the company it was an obvious decision to make!

Our marquees are not your typical, box shaped marquee... they are very different - they really stand out!
