Very happy with the service provided by Hackney Heating. Managed to stop my toilet leaking everywhere and saved me from a massive bill from my landlord! ! The service provided was excellent, turned up earlier than expected and fixed the issue within minutes. Absolutely excellent service even though it was out of hours. Woke up to a busted boiler and an error code for a new PCB. I rang Hackney Heating, got through fast and quickly organised an engineer. Engineer arrived an hour earlier than expected which was great. Worst company ever! The boss Danny is a rude man with no idea of what customer service means. Instead of telling me to replace the boiler he convinced me the best would be to change parts, charging me a fortune for nothing. After a month of back and forth and many visits, the boiler isn't working anymore, so I paid all of this money for nothing. No follow up from him whatsoever, his only concern is cashing in. If you don't want a stressful experience, stay away from Hackney Heating and more importantly do not trust this man, he is a thief! More...

Hackney heating came to fix a problem with our boiler, which hadn’t worked in three days. The engineers were both polite, told me what the problem was and fixed for the agreed (and competitive) price. I probably should have given them four stars because there was a problem with their booking system and the engineer didn’t turn up on the first day. However I’m willing to put that down to a human error and once they arrived they fixed the boiler quickly and efficiently. In fact they identified quite a big problem and less reputable firms could have spun it out for more cash, but they were really good and seemed open and honest. Very happy and will use again. Have never felt the need to leave a review before!

Called them this morning, was told an engineer would be with me between 3. 30 and 4.30. By 5pm no one had arrived so I called to check where he was and was told he'd arrived at the job before mine 10 minutes ago. I said in that case I would cancel the job. The guy on the phone said:

"If you want to cancel the job, whatever, I don't really care. I'm fed up with people getting shirty with me."

I have actually used this company twice before and was used to them being a bit late, but was pretty surprised to hear someone behave like this with a repeat customer! More...

I called Hackney Heating when my boiler wasn't working last year. They diagnosed the problem as needing a power flush and quoted to repair. I got a second quote for comparison and the new engineer said flush wasn't the issue it was pump and they arranged for manufacturer to fix under warranty. I spoke to Danny at Hackney Heating and credit to him he apologise for what was a mistake and as a gesture of goodwill offered to refund the original callout fee, which I have now received.

Hackney Heating replaced a domestic boiler for me. They responded promptly to calls, talked me through options clearly and all work was undertaken efficiently and very tidily. Everyone I dealt with was really helpful and reassuring. They made the experience of boiler malfunction and replacement much less stressful than it would otherwise have been. Stage 1 - call out and diagnosis of Boiler problem

Called up to request a quote and visit to see our boiler - very lovely lady on the phone, very helpful. Engineer came out roughly on time after trouble finding the house, but was very friendly and explained everything clearly.

Price was very, very good for our Boiler to be replaced and installed. Price for 1 hour call out to check boiler was also cheaper than others I've spoken to by 50%.

Works will be conducted next week, I will leave another review following that. But based on service so far, and other reviews, I'm expecting an excellent installation service. More...
