We had drinks in the garden and went in to see if we could get a table for dinner, we ordered from the Easter menu, we had starters and main. We both had lamb cutlets which tasted insane, it was cooked to perfection it was one of the best meals I had had in a long time, the French horn was a perfect little country pub for our impromptu getaway x More...
Delicious food, beautifully cooked to order so be prepared to wait. Caters for food allergies. Dog friendly (and smells a bit of dog but don't let that put you off.)

We had 2 sharing platter for starter, bread, hot camembert, meats, olives, hummus and salad all nicely presented on a wood board. Mains my partner and I had the Polish Special of mixed dumpling and Polish salads. Our friends had a burger with chips and the venison. Again all well presented and lovely food. I had to pass on desert, but everyone else ate. The panacotta with ginger nut cookie, chocolate tort and Polish Apple Pie. All looked lovely and well presented. Our waitress, Hannah, was very attentive and chatty. The only issue was getting to the pub as the road is closed due to the new bridge being built, and not knowing the area made it a challenge. Price wise, with the Groupon order made it a very reasonable cost. All in all, a lovely evening out with good food and pleasant surroundings. More...
Excellent food and really hospitable staff. Will definitely be going back.
Nice atmosphere good food
Great place, friendly & welcoming. Even though road works, including the building of a new rail-bridge meant a circular re-routing it was busy. Welcoming log fire & really nice staff. My nephew & I didn't eat there last night but I have a few times this year & food was excellent. More...

Staff are exceptionally lovely and very helpful, food is freshly cooked and very good, nothing that has been blasted thru the microwave. Good value lunch menu. I have not given it 5* as the dinning area is a bit dated, but I am sure they will overcome that in time. Do call in nice little pub. More...

Good drinks, lovely beer garden, nice atmosphere, not too expensive, about the normal for the area. The sharing platter off the menu sounds expensive e but is good when you get it. I enjoyed it. I would come again.
Decent choice of drinks and staff are friendly
Delicious! Probably the best French fine dining available in the area.
A very lovely pub
