Andrew was recommended to me by a friend, and what a great job he did. He was very professional, arriving when he said he would, and his work was meticulous. It was quite a tricky job, and he didn’t leave until he had got it absolutely right. On his initial visit, he said he would estimate the cost of the job, and I was very pleasantly surprised by his charges. Andrew and Graeme converted an external garage into an office, created a new decking area and replaced all worn existing decking. I had a number of quotes from various builders and I didn’t complete with them as they provided me with no confidence that the work would be done to a high standard. The first thing that struck me about F and M joinery was that Andrew and Graeme were professional, polite courteous people who I felt that I could trust. The works lasted four weeks which was the timescales initially provided. Andrew and Graeme turned up everything morning at 8am and never left the site until end of day. My neighbours commented on how considerate they were around tidiness and their lovely manner. I’m delighted with the end result, the garage conversion looks better than I thought possible and the decking looks terrific too. We can be a little fussy but F and M never made us feel that we were asking for too much. And I’ve never felt so relaxed having builders around due to the complete confidence they created very early on.I wouldn’t hesistate to use or recommmend F and M and anyone who decides to proceed with them is very fortunate as from experience they are at the top of their field. Great honest guys, replied quickly with enquiries, followed by prompt home visit and reasonable price estimate. Followed by punctuality for job, excellent and clean workmanship. Andrew and Graham were life savers when we needed urgent work done to our attic and garage for storage. We had a tight moving in schedule and they did their very best to accommodate us, making two excellent and clean storage spaces.
