Lovely staff and always get a great haircut here! I usually book with Rosie, who is a gem, and I really look forward to our chats. The last time I visited, I arrived for my appointment with her only to be told that she had taken the day off because her son was poorly, so I was to have another senior stylist called Gilly. I don't mind admitting I was really nervous as I'd never met Gilly before, she didn't know me or my hair, but I needn't have worried at all. Have used Mavericks since I was 14! They have saved me on many occasions where I have tried to be a cheap skate and cut and dye my hair myself. . Have always ended up with my tail between my legs and going back to Mavericks for them to sort out! Great value and you are so well looked after! The head massage whilst having your hair washed is the best bit and the famous cookies! More...

I had a bad haircut at a different place (i only tried it to keep the cost down this month) but I came home so disappointed, my hair didn't look like it had even been cut, it was thick and was really getting on my nerves. I came to Mavericks and had my hair re-cut instead of my highlights I was booked in for.. Sophie made it look nice again, she spent so much time making it look good and I came home this time feeling happy in myself. Amazing service from start to finish for my Auntie’s wedding hair, and for all the bridesmaid’s hair. Drinks on arrival, friendly staff, good atmosphere and hairdressers who know exactly what they are doing. All of us were so happy with our hair and it stayed perfect all day. Just wanted to say a huge Thankyou to Jess (the new beautician).
I had a back massage,pedicure, shellac nails and an express facial with her and all 4 treatments were fantastic and highly recommended.
I work within a close customer relationship environment and i will be recommending her to all of my clients,
Especially the facial. I had never had a facial before and was quiet nervous but she put me at complete ease and talked me through exactly what she was going to do and made the whole treatment relaxing and therapeutic.
Lovely girl, thankyou again, and thankyou to the wonderful lena aswell for guiding her through so professionally.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
Understanding my clients goals and being realistic is key. Then finding what drives and motivates each client is really important. Finally ensuring my client understands what we are doing and why always gives better results.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Determination and drive as well as being committed. However, also accepting our body and respecting it is very important to gain real results. Allowing times of greater adjustment and rest where needed. Every day is different and what each person can do with their body is unique. Acceptance is key and from here we can strive to reach our top goals in line with our own physicality.
What do you love most about your job?
The joy out of my client’s successes and visibly experiencing the change in posture and increased fitness as a result.
