What do you love most about your job?
Working closely with managers and understanding the business needs whilst finding the right solution that has the minimal impact on both the individual, manager and business from a commercial perspective is what I love doing in the HR role. I adopt a pragmatic approach, allowing all parties to feel that they still have control of the situation/issue. Although it is important to be mindful of legal constraints, it is about managing the situation to a cohesive conclusion that I enjoy achieving.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have had some great experiences in my career that has enhanced my knowledge and abilities. However, I realised that there are smaller companies who may look for for some HR support however this does not equate to a full time position in their business, By being able to utilise my skills to support our local businesses is what drives me in my business.
