Heather has been so helpful with my HR work. When starting a new business and hiring staff for the first time the HR side of it was a complete mystery to me. Heather was kind and knowledgeable and has sorted out all of my staff contracts, handbooks and everything I needed to hire staff. She was also immensely helpful when I had to dismiss a member of staff. She wrote the termination letter and was present for the dismissal which helped me enormously. I love going in to small companies and resolving their HR issues. By knowing the law and sticking to policies, many issues can be resolved surprisingly easily. You get to know about the company and meet the people. I find that small companies have a real desire to get HR right and want to motivate their staff and look after them. This is my brand of HR and I can make a real impact. I love not knowing what issues I will be faced with and every day being different.

I identified a real need for small businesses, who could not afford a full-time HR person, to have HR support. I have found that I can make a real difference to these businesses and to their staff.
