Jacqueline is a lovely lady and did a beautiful job on several alterations to my wedding dress and she did the alterations for my six bridesmaids as well. My friend recommended Jacqueline and I’m so glad she did. She charges less that the tailors I looked at in Bromley or the bridal shops and she did such a fantastic job. She clearly takes a lot of pride in her work. When i tried on my dress i wasn’t sure what alterations were needed, other than the length, but once she has done the alterations to the waist and adding the loop for the bustle it looked so much better. I highly recommend Jaqueline. I bought a reduced wedding dress that didnt fit me very well, so I was a bit ambivalent about it, but after Jaqueline had altered it it fitted perfectly and I absolutely loved it. I emailed Jacqueline a few months ago enquiring about her making me a prom dress, she responded almost instantly, I sent her a picture of the dress I wanted and we arranged a day to meet. We met, discussed the dress, next time we met was when she had an outline of the dress shape, then I met with her after and she had made majority of the dress. Saturday, I picked up my dress for my prom and it was so beautiful, everything I asked for was taken into consideration So happy with the service Jacqueline made me, absolutely gorgeous, good quality and fitted perfectly. The alterations were carried out on my Wedding Dress and my daughters Bridesmaid outfit. We had a couple of visits with Jacqueline. Alterations were carried out exactly as asked. We picked the dress up the night before the wedding as Jacqueline had an emergency, but she made sure everything was done. I would not hesitate to recommend her dressmaking skills. I went to Jacqueline with a vague notion of what I wanted, together with an outfit I already had, to give her an idea. She listened carefully to my ideas, gave suggestions and finally we came up with what I wanted. After several fitting appointments, I have a beautiful ensemble, based on an Indian Salwar Kameez. This bespoke outfit is beautifully crafted and superbly finished. I will be proud to wear it to my son's wedding. With barely 48 hours until we were due to travel down to the West Country for our wedding, Jacquie was able to make emergency alterations to my wife's dress, including adjusting the shoulder straps and taking in the top of the bodice. She also steamed the dress too to remove creases. Jacquie was absolutely amazing from start to finish! I rang her on a weekend in a real state because I was less than a week before my wedding and my dress needed serious help after picking it up from my bridal shop. I googled local dressmakers and Jacquie came up and not only did she step in at the last moment but calmed me down, resolved the problems on my dress within 24hrs of receiving my dress AND did a first class job! What can I say? Jacqs is FABULOUS! My wedding dress was a very ambitious project- not the conventional idea of a bridal gown at all- but Jacqs was totally undaunted and really spent time getting to know exactly what I wanted. She clearly has years of experience behind her and skilfully suggested improvements and employed techniques that really made my dress something beautiful to behold. I really can't say enough about this lovely, highly talented lady!I shall be wearing my dress next weekend for my big day and I am so excited!
