Best meal ever. We went here to celebrate ten years together. The food was amazing. We had fruit de mer which consisted of a hot starter of mussels, prawns and perfectly cooked scallops followed by a cold assortment of crab, lobster, linguines, and prawns. We had the option of this cooked but chef recommended cold. It isn't the cheapest on the menu but it's superb value. Great location by the shore. Small but perfectly formed restaurant. We sat outside on terrace with our pooch and lovely every moment. Myself and my husband visited the week before Christmas for a birthday lunch. It could not have been more perfect. The restaurant is small and right on the harbour. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. I shared the crab platter, and it very good. The fish and chips were spot on as well. My only complaint would be regarding the espresso I had after lunch, which was pretty sub-par. But I'll just skip the coffee next time I go back, which hopefully will be pretty soon. I will do back, however, still in the winter, as I expect the Crab Shed, and all of Salcombe, must be mobbed in the summer. More...

OMG. What a find!!!!!! We were so impressed w the food. The four of us shared a Seafood Board for Two. There was plenty of wonderful fresh shell fish and we ate the whole thing!
