Q&As

I love being able to help and support regardless what this can mean to an individual. Sometimes it's just a matter of making very small steps, sometimes significant psychic shifts, which then contribute towards a more whole and fulfilling experience which we call life.

I have met a number of good people in my life who have inspired me to become a counsellor. Some of them are people whom I have never met and who are long dead, e.g. a Polish pedagogue Janusz Korczak, Freud, Jung, Kohut, others are my friends, managers, family.

As a counsellor I don't tend to tell my client what they should be doing in their lives in order to feel better. Instead I simply provide a safe space where they can explore what's been troubling them. It is my experience that the structured safety contributes towards a development of therapeutic relationship which then helps to carry out the mutual exploration, it also helps to alleviate troubling symptoms and it also leads to a positive permanent change.

Services

I offer clinical supervision to individual and groups.

Individual in Waterloo and/or London Bridge, groups in London Bridge only.

As a clinical supervisor I integrate the following counselling and psychotherapy modalities – psychodynamic, humanistic including gestalt, TA, person centered, existential, cbt and transpersonal.

The supervision with me can be quite creative with the use of drawing, visualisations, sand tray and music.

If you would like to discuss your clinical supervision needs please enquire.
