Visited in early August in our touring caravan - little bit off the beaten track but great for exploring Cornwall which was exactly what we wanted. Good amenities, small shop was well stocked and the night time entertainment seemed to cater for all from Bingo to Bands. As a bit of a last minute having done big holidays earlier in year, for this get away we picked Calloose, as usual having looked at TA, and decided it would fit the bill. |Not disappointed at all and to be honest were really impressed.|We stayed in a static, and it had everything we needed, was very clean and I have to say the site was great.|Clubhouse if you needed or wanted it, we chose a couple of nights on the rattler, and a couple off, but it was friendly, sensibly priced and overall great.|Pool was there if the sun came out, it did on a couple of occasions and that was nice. |There seemed to be a good moral amongst both campers and staff, and everything seemed week run and that just all worked.|For me there would be no hesitation in returning at all, and for me it’s a top site to stay at or base from.|| More...

We just wanted to order food and eat but we were sushed a lot and decided to leave the pub instead. Wr never returned to the pub. More...

Pitch was a set size and reasonable.Disliked: The family bathroom on the left had a drainage issue and would block up. Also I know the bathrooms were cleaned every morning as you could smell it was clean and see it but it could do with a deep clean as there was built up dirt in corners and on walls and door. Also there wasn't always hand soap and there was one toilet out of order with a notice. I also noticed however that the third toilet had a leak eveytime you flushed which eventually caused water all over the floor. Lastly there was a mouse dead on the last gravel pitch near the toilets and it remained there for a few days. Was still there o. The day we left. I realise it wasn't an occupied pitch but it would have been better not to have to see the poor thing every time I went to the toilet. More...
