After reading the great online & forum reviews for Birchdown Auto Services, i decided to book my track car (Clio RS) in for a full cam belt & dephaser service & MOT. During the service they discovered a previous 'specialist' had not set the cam timing correctly (hmmmm!!). Bottom line, if you value your car and want the best servicing and workmanship in the business....why go anywhere else Highly recommended, 5 stars all the way, keep up the great work Andy & Steve. Great service, took my Clio 182 in for a load of work (gearbox, clutch, cam belt, water pump, aircon) they did a superb job on it. They kept me informed as to progress and lent me a car, kept to their estimate and when they discovered that the aircon condenser needed replacing they gave me a quote for that before doing it.Highly recommended. I've been taking my RS Clio 200 to Birchdown for a year now and the service provided is awesome. They've performed a cambelt change which was half the cost of going to Renault direct. I've had a general service and during that I was informed about a bad corrosion issue on my radiator support panel that Renault had somehow missed with one of their checks a few months prior. Also just recently had my gearbox oil done. Great friendly service and I trust their work and advice especially over a main Renault service centre. More...

Took my Clio Sport for a check up, service and MOT. The service/MOT was completed and one advisory issue which was a minor fix was addressed at inconsequential cost. They identified a further issue which wasn't an MOT advisory or failure and were able to fit me in at fairly short notice to rectify it as I like my vehicles to be spot on. This was repaired at reasonable cost in a short time frame. Courtesy cars were available given notice and the staff at Birchdown were friendly and professional throughout. They were happy to give advice and talk through any issues. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Waze application for android found them first time, the location could be tricky to find I suppose. My other top tip would be avoid the feral parents dropping/picking up their kids at the schools in Malpas they are maniacs! More...
