Beales Gourmet catered for our wedding at Sopley. From first contact to the big day, Frankie and the team helped us make choosing our menu really easy. We had a great menu tasting experience and follow up meetings to finalise our plans. Special thank you to Frankie for helping with all the behind the scenes planning! Guests commented how amazing our three course wedding breakfast, bbq and canapés tasted. They catered for all, especially those with special dietary requirements which helped those guests enjoy their food without having to worry! Beales Gourmet were our wedding caterers at Sopley Mill on 25 July 2019. They were outstanding throughout the preparation and planning, offering great advice and always being on hand, and were equally brilliant on the day. Beales provided canapes for the drinks reception, a three course wedding breakfast and then evening buffet. The food was exquisite, all the guests commented on how fabulous it was (especially the blade of beef main course which was amazing!) and how marvellous the team were. We hired Beatles for catering for our wedding and St.Giles house and it was definitely the correct decision. Pre-wedding the process is seamless from booking through to tasting to setting up the venue. On the wedding day the tables looked amazing and set up in the way we wanted with decorations and things, the staff were amazing especially the catering managers who made sure everything ran smoothly. They kept back canapés for us so ensure we didn’t miss out because of photos. Importantly, the food was delicious and perfectly sized portions as well as well timed! We hired Beales for our catering at St Giles House in April. The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the detail, to the portion sizes everything was fantastic. Cait was so professional and lovely and responded so quickly to every email and phone call.Everything we had asked for was down to perfection from the flower napkins to glasses constantly refilled. I had so many people telling em how attentive the drink pourers were during reception drinks and at the top table the guys serving us were just incredible! So happy and friendly and I never had an empty glass...perfect!They were always so happy and friendly and everyone was served so quickly. I think jack asked for a beer at one point and before he even finished his sentence someone had already brought him one!The food was unreal everyone has told me it’s the best wedding food they have ever had! Not going to lie - expectations were pretty darn high for the catering on our wedding day. Quite a few different people and other suppliers of ours had mentioned that Beales were the best in the industry etc. .. How relieved we were to discover that this was in fact completely true. Everything from the staff (especially our event manager Drew), to the canapes, to the efficiency of everything right down to the presentation and taste was absolutely spot on. We even had one of our guests come over to the top table with his licked clean plate to show us how much he loved the main! Wedding June 2018: Since the very first moment we booked Beales for our wedding, Cait has been fantastic in ensuring things were organised to the finest detail, considering how busy she must be, she has been so meticulous with her approach in managing the catering for our wedding and she was accommodating in tricky situations (thank you Cait! !!). The events manager for our wedding day (Drew) was ABSOLUTELY fantastic, organised, conscientious, calming, presentable, and incredibly hard working. The wedding day was an absolute DREAM - with Beales and Drew in particular making it so. Our guests were blown away by the organisation and layout as well as the QUALITY of the food and the deliciousness of the cuisine (we went for prawn/crab cocktail starter, Dorset lamb for mains, and lemon posset for desert). Down to the fold of the table cloth and presentation of all staff of the day (all staff were attentive to the guests and ensured every single person in every nook and cranny of the the castle were served well)!!! Beales provided the catering for our wedding at Sopley Mill on June 24th and what an amazing job they did! We had so many guests commenting on how good the food was, from the canapes to the delicious wedding breakfast and the amazing evening buffet. Quite a few people said it was the best duck confit they had ever had, as well as the best wedding food! We can't thank Ross and his team enough for all of their hard work on the day as everything ran seamlessly. Ross kept us informed and had a very flexible approach, which was great as we needed a bit more time to talk to our guests between the main and dessert, and his suggestion to serve the evening buffet outside rather than where we had originally planned was a great one, as it meant guests could continue to enjoy the evening sunset. The service in the lead up to the wedding was brilliant too - Cait couldn't have been more helpful and answered all of my emails very promptly. AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING SERVICE! I really can not fault Beales Gourmet. They are such a professional outfit led by Tony Beales, nothing is too much trouble for them. The whole team are fantastic and such a pleasure to work with. They have now hosted two events for Dumpton school - one at Compton Acres and one off site for our biennial school ball. The food was exceptional throughout the day; so good that many guests stated it was the best wedding food ever! Particular highlights were the canapés and the amazing sharing starters. Absolutely LOVED the food you provided on our Wedding Day at Highcliffe Castle 9.9.17. Matt and the team provided amazing service and brilliant food, EVERYONE was talking about how the great the food was! ! They were a pleasure to deal with the whole way through with Cait putting up with all my emails and Tony even meeting with us to talk through a few things we weren't sure about. What can I say . WOW!!! The best wedding food I have ever tasted !!!! Beales did our catering for our wedding at Lulworth Castle on 30th June 2017 and I couldn't recommend them more ! Firstly thank you to Cait for all the endless emails, changes and indecisions she new everything about the food the presentation and the flavours and helped me massively on the lead up to the day! The food was stunning and I'm very picky ! I like nice food! The canapés looked like art work with the colours and the way they were presented ! My favourite had to be the beetroot cured salmon celeriac slaw and dill emulsion how that was presented with the little syringe on top was awesome! For our wedding breakfast we had the Parma ham rolled cream cheese marinated tomatoes and rosemary focaccia which started the meal perfectly , then on to my favourite THE LAMB!! As I'm a little fussy I did a change on the sauce so we had spring lamb rump cooked to perfection with spiced red cabbage potato gratin pea purée and I changed to a red currant jus ( this was no problem for the chef) and was out of this world ! Everyone complimented on how good it was ! Our desert was a bit of a battle as I wanted sticky toffee pudding and Rea was convinced he wanted the brownie until he tried the sticky toffee which can I say melted in the mouth ! So I won and we had that ! For our evening we had a bespoke served buffet of mini burgers, fish and chips, pizza and chicken satay and they went down a treat!! I can honestly say the food was out of this world I was so pleased that we chose Beales and will definitely use them for any event we do again! Special thanks to Matthew as the day would never have ran so smoothly without you, you were fun, professional and made sure all our guests where looked after ! We hired Beales to cater for our wedding day and evening and next day BBQ back in July (5th) 2013 at Lulworth castle and they were all so spectacular and beautifully executed that I've been waiting for the excuse to hire them again and it came for my in laws golden wedding anniversary and my daughters (we've been busy having two girls in those three years) Christening. Everything again was top notch and although on a smaller scale, the same attention to detail was maintained. Beale's catered our wedding at Sopley Mill on 15th October 2016. We chose them because they looked far and away to be the best option (although the priciest) in the area, and in the end they delivered big time! Excellent bespoke wedding package, including canapés and unreal evening buffet (they even catered to "off menu" requests, like the unbelievable, freshly homemade scotch eggs they served up in the evening for us). There were a few negatives at the beginning: Slightly limited and inconvenient tasting times and the 1st tasting was in general, a massive let down - I sent an email outlining quite a few issues and critiques. Beales were the utmost professionals and proceeded with incredible humility. A second tasting and further discussions occurred and everything was absolutely nailed come wedding day. In the end, All the guests were incredibly impressed - definitely the best food i or any of my friends and family have eaten at a wedding. The service on the day was also second to none, with some very thoughtful touches (including dedicated canapé selections brought to the bride and groom as we mingled and went for photos, etc) Definitely can't recommend them enough - if you have the budget for them (and for me, skimping on the food is a bit of a false economy...), you definitely get what you pay for with Beales. I used Beales Gourmet last month for our wedding day at Lulworth Castle. We were totally blown away by their high level of service and attention to detail. Matt and his team coordinated our day perfectly. He was so lovely and kept us up to date on details throughout the day. We were treated like royalty! All the staff were very smiley and friendly and really helped us and our guests relax into the day. The food and drink was outstanding and all of our guests would not stop talking about how delicious the food was. We had a huge portion of warm goats cheese for started which we all loved. And the pies were exactly what we wanted, which the team at Beales catered especially for us. And the chocolate torte with popping candy was out of this world and a hit with the guests. The staff even went to the bother of putting some food from the evening aside for the groom and I as we were too busy to eat during the evening festivities. In the lead up to the wedding Cait and her team were super responsive (a quality I found hard to come by with wedding suppliers) and no request (we had quite a few) was ever too much trouble! Beales were just outstanding on our wedding day on 27th May 2016, and even in the build up before that. They were very accommodating with any allergies and dietary requirements, were brilliant in helping us get a better understanding of how the day would go and fully justified their reputation as one of Lulworth's trusted suppliers. We chose Beales Gourmet for our wedding at Lulworth Castle at the start of February 2016. From the get go they were great to deal with and helped us decide what we wanted from our big day. There was always someone to quickly answer our questions and solve my bride-to-be worries and Laura.B was always on hand providing brilliant customer service. After our food tasting we wanted to make a few tweaks to the menu and they happily obliged, wanting to give us the best service for our big day. As someone who works in events I found it hard to put full control in someone else's hands but I had nothing to worry about because where Beales Gourmet really come into their own is on the wedding day itself!Matt was so helpful on the day of setup and made sure everything was how we wanted it. We didn't have time to decorate out cake of cheese and left all the bits for Beales to do on the morning - well we're so pleased we did as they did a fantastic job and it looked beautiful - far more artistic than we could have managed!On the day itself both Matt and his team kept the day running seamlessly and the food was exceptional - it far surpassed what we had on our trial and many commented on how impressed they were.
