Anastasis is an incredibly talented yoga instructor. I have been practicing yoga for many years and within a few months of working with him I was able to master postures I had never been able to achieve before. By far my favourite yoga teacher. I have also done one of the weekend workshops and was brilliant. Pushes you to do the best you can do, yoga class different every time (not the exact same sequence), teaches new skills (head stands, arm balances, etc.). Would definitely recommend!

Anastasis is knowledgable and passionate, with a grounded approach to this interesting breathing technique. I very much appreciated his approach to sharing the science behind it and a measured understanding of it's potential. Although I have had some experience doing the 10 week WHM course, I certainly learned a lot from Anastasis and would really encourage anyone interested in the Wim Hof Method / Sports Science / Yoga to give one of his classes a try. Anastasis is a brilliant teacher. Extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of asana and pranyama. He structures his classes really well and gets a good balance between flow, finding time to focus on more advanced postures, and breathwork. Anastasis gives time, attention and advice to all of his students. I really enjoyed his yoga classes and I was able to push and develop my practice. Anastasis has time for his students and takes pride in their increased awareness and development. He runs handstand workshops which have excellent results, my handstand practice developed so quickly during a short course that he ran in London.

I regularly read Anastasis' written blog material which I find really interesting and he effectively challenges perceptions and norms with a range of evidence and personal experience.

A really great teacher that I trust to be honest, to provide valuable constructive feedback and someone who believes in his students.

Anastasis is an amazing teacher, he gives great honest feedback which is essential for development. He welcomes new students and adapts practice for each student. He understands his students level and gives direction to suit individual needs. As a yoga teacher myself, it's usually hard to find a teacher that challenges you in the areas you need to improve, but Anastasis classes are unorthodox, dynamic and challenging, with no two classes the same, I find myself learning something new every practice. I have known Anastasis and trained handstands with him for almost a year now. As a personal trainer myself, I know what it takes to work with individuals of different skills and levels, and I must say that Anastasis has an incredible capacity and an expert teaching technique. He is both very intuitive and knowledgable but more than anything, he is passionate about what he does, whether it is handstands, yoga or nutrition. Anastasis is an excellent yoga teacher. I progressed more in the first 6 months of going to Anastasis's classes than I had in the previous 3 years. His classes are challenging-just the right amount to push both strength and flexibility-and delivered in a kind and warm manner and with helpful adjustments that make you realise what your body is capable of. As someone who is not naturally flexible or fearless I can now nearly do front splits and have been working towards handstand. I couldn't recommended Anastasis more. More...

Q&As

I love seeing my clients increase their energy levels.

This is the 1st step in order to deal with burnout, recover from a chronic illness or improve their fitness. I have spent a lot of time myself in highly competitive environments (ie. currency derivatives training, special forces) and most of my clients experience stress on a daily basis. I can relate to their struggles and love seeing them concerning their health goals.

In 2009 me and my girlfriend had an adventure with our health. We both managed to recover by changing our diets. This inspired me to study Nutritional Therapy and start helping others.

Most of my clients are like my old self.

Having a background in special forces and currency derivatives trading I have experienced firsthand the effects of stress. Most of my clients suffer from poor sleep, diet, posture, bad sex life, and always terrible breathing. So far I have assisted many improve their health in all these areas.

Online consultations are available. Those booking online consultation receive also support with online complimentary material such as educational and follow along videos.

I have had 3 vaccines so far. I take all reasonable measures to avoid infecting my clients when I think I may be a carrier.

Services

Private sessions are tailored to your needs. In most cases, a combination of different disciplines such as yoga, fascia manipulation, strength work, and breathing exercises are used. The goal of our session can be:

• Develop your flexibility/yoga practice
• Learn to handstand

Both online and in-person sessions are available. I have more availability for online sessions but in-person ones in North & Central London can easily be arranged.

Certified in 3 systems (Wim Hof Method, Oxygen Advantage and Buteyko) and having delivered +100 consultations and +50 workshops I am confident I can help you improve your respiratory function to achieve better sleep, energy, mental clarity, and hormonal balance.
