I start with a complimentary 15 minute phone call. If we want to move forward, we schedule a 2 hour consultation in your home or the area to be designed. I prefer meeting in person because interior design is uniquely personal to you and it helps us both to get to know each other. Once the project scope has been defined, I create a proposal for design services. Most of my clients prefer a flat fee vs. hourly.

Growing up, I was one of those girls who loved rearranging the furniture. My mom never knew what to expect!
I've always been creative, from drawing, painting, pottery, weaving, photography, and trying to play the flute. I used to sew everything from elaborate Halloween costumes for my kids to making a French machine sewn christening gown. When I sewed draperies for my house, a friend asked me to make draperies for her. Sewing them is hard work especially when dealing with fabric 10 feet long. I decided I'd rather design them than sew them, so I hired a drapery workroom and started my business. With lots of training, traveling, and learning, my business mushroomed into the full service design firm it is today.
