Hands down one of the best MMA gyms in the tristate area! Very rare to walk into a gym and immediately feel like you're right at home with such a welcoming staff! Expect to be surrounded by hardworking members that will inspire you while training with some of the best coaches and up and coming fighters from different disciplines. Also expect a fun, friendly and clean environment while you train to be a Warrior. Really impressed with what Hansel has put together in such a short timeframe under this roof, it only speaks to the quality of the training you will get under his leadership and the one of his coaching staff. Warrior’s Nation is by far the best gym I’ve ever been to! The coaching staff are unbelievably well trained, and the gym environment is so welcoming and friendly. I started going to the gym a few months ago and have made lifelong friends and connections within the short amount of time. I came to Warriors Nation not knowing a thing about fighting. This never seemed to matter to anyone at the gym.

The coaches have always been extremely friendly, patient and communicative. I've always felt comfortable at the gym and I believe that there is a common understanding that everyone who trains at Warriors Nation is there to improve themselves and no one person is better than the other.

The gym feels very unique with a real sense of community. The talented group of coaches working at Warriors Nation will push you to be better. There are people training at all different levels at the gym, so it doesn't matter if you are a newbie or a seasoned vet, everyone is very understanding and willing to help you learn.

Hansel is the best coach I’ve ever worked with hands down. His ability to truly tune into your abilities and needs, sets him apart as one of the greatest motivators in the game. He consistently inspires one to push beyond their perceived limitations and discover new levels of ability and skill. He also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience within (and extending beyond) fitness, combat and nutrition.
Would highly recommend him and Warriors Nation for anyone seeking to improve themselves as an athlete and as a whole person.

Q&As

We first start off with an assessment.
In this assessment we go over their goals and how long will it take us to attain it. As well as any prior health issues I should know about.

After a Q&A, we go over any muscle imbalances our client’s may have so we can address any issues of underactive and overactive muscles. Since our programs are tailored towards strength and conditioning, boxing and kickboxing etc, it’s very important for us to make sure exercises are executed properly.

If our client’s goal is to learn strictly Boxing or Kickboxing, etc, we make sure to access footwork, defense and offense and proper punching and kicking mechanics to learning technique and form.

Nutrition. Nothing beats a good diet. Teaching our clients proper nutrition is a major emphasis on our programs. We make it easy for our clients to still enjoy their favorite foods just as long as they are honest and hold themselves accountable.

The best thing about my job is being able to accomplish the goal of our clients. To see them happy for completing a task they thought was impossible, gives my job a whole new meaning. Motivates me to continue to get better for them and continue to crush any goals they may have.

The pandemic made me realize my dreams are being with held working for another company. Even though I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity that arose to change the people’s lives that I have touched, but I felt I needed to broaden my horizons and showcase my hard work through my own vision. Now more than ever as a small business I look forward to sharing the mission of Warriors Nation. I’m fully vaccinated and make sure to get tested every 10 days. All of my employees are vaccinated and majority of our members are as well. Because of this safety precaution our gym hasn’t had any Covid outbreaks.

Services

Mixed Martial Arts is a full out combat sport that incorporates all forms of martial arts from around the world that’s based on striking, grappling and ground fighting.

In MMA you will learn, how to combine all the elements of striking and grappling into one.

Muay Thai - AKA art of 8 limbs, where the body’s weapon of choice consist of fists, elbows, knees & shins, as well as clinching techniques that wrap up your opponent via the neck, around the arms and or torso.

In Muay Thai you will learn, combinations and a variety of technique that will help you understand range, distance, damage infliction and control.

Involves a classification of selective exercises mixed with bag work, that are tailored to our daily life routines and on the combative side of sports. It’s meant to not only challenge you physically and cardiovascular, but also strengthen your heart, skeletal muscles and nervous system.

With Functional Fitness you will learn, techniques and combinations on the bag. Move in all planes of motion using exercises that help develop your natural athleticism.

Aka the sweet science, involves a variety of ring IQ that consist of footwork, counter punching, blocking, defense and offense.

In Boxing you will learn the importance of foot work, defense, countering and punching combinations.

Based off of three martial arts, Kyokushin karate, Western boxing, and Muay Thai. It is a very distinct style at a fast pace that focuses on boxing combinations, low kicks, knees and angles.

In Dutch kickboxing you will learn, line drills and how to put together your footwork, boxing combinations and Muay Thai combinations in a graceful yet explosive manner.

Is a sport that utilizes grappling techniques to throw or hold and control their opponent on the ground.

In Wrestling you will learn how to subdue your opponent and utilize technique that can be useful in the sport of MMA.

AKA submission grappling very similar to wrestling in appearance and in terms of control, but different in it's goals, where wrestling focuses on pins and BJJ focuses more on submissions.

In Jiu Jitsu you will learn how to properly apply different submission techniques that help either control or force your opposition into

Specific Dutch kickboxing and BJJ curriculum tailored towards kids (Ages 3-5 tiny warriors, ages 6-10 little warriors, ages 11-14 teen warriors) In which they will learn the importance of proper combinations, techniques, and hand eye coordination.

In these classes , kids will learn the Dutchkickboxing system and BJJ curriculum that will help to not only protect them, but also build self confidence, discipline and importance of team building

We create a personalized custom plan for our clients looking to get more in depth with their training.

With 1 on 1 we check Vo2max, lung capacity, how many calories your burning from carbs or fat using our PNOĒ device. We check your progress weekly to ensure the program is working or if there’s any changes to be made.
