Vybe Society is a fabulous group of musicians! They are all so talented. They were the stars of my daughter’s wedding! From the first note played ‘til the end of the reception, the dance floor was packed. If you want a memorable wedding reception hire them to play! And they were very professional from start to finish. They made the process of contracting with them easy. They were very communicative and we felt we were in good hands. One of the most important things we wanted on our wedding day was a kickass band. Vybe Society delivered! They brought the beats all night long. We had their strings play during our ceremony, and it was nothing short of magical. They also played our cocktail hour and set a great tone going into the evening. As a jazz musician and former music promoter, my expectations for our wedding band were quite high. Vybe Society exceeded these expectations and then some. Their musicianship and energy kept the dancefloor going all night, and many of our guests came to us afterwards to tell us how amazing the band was.

Not only were they great performers, but they were a pleasure to work with as well. Catherine was super helpful coordinating before the event. The band took my long unorganized list of requests and arranged them into 3 beautifully crafted sets. They were very accommodating to my special requests as well. Elijah helped set up a mic and sound for a song I had prepared as a surprise for my bride, and they let me sit in with the band as well! Dale did a great job of MC’ing our toasts, and they were all fantastic guests all around.

We also booked the string quartet through Vybe Society. There could not have been a better accompaniment for our ceremony. Their repertoire was a great mix of classical and covers of various genres, which brought an element of fun to the classiness of the string quartet. Their timing of songs with the ceremony really brought it to the next level!

We really wanted live music at our wedding and we saw a LOT of wedding bands in our search-- we can't recommend Vybe Society enough! !! They are so great and reasonably priced. We were able to choose the size and instruments we wanted, and provided our dream song list, and they recommend the best vocalists for your choices. Dale and Katie were incredible!! Catherine was very knowledgable and helped us understand the right package for us, and the whole team was very flexible as we figured out we'd need two nights of support instead of one! The first night was actually just for a mic set up during our ceremony and some pre recorded music over dinner. It was really important to us that our guests could hear us during the ceremony and the mic and speaker set up was FLAWLESS despite being in the middle of a field! The team really figured it out and I was so grateful to not be worrying about static or the sound cutting in and out on this special day. The second night we hired them as a band and as a DJ add on! The live music was AMAZING, truly. Our guests loved it and they sounded amazing. The team was again flexible as we figured out the best set up for them in our family barn, and we feel really lucky to have worked with them. The DJ was a fun way to end the night and we all had a great time dancing. The team came out for a site visit and was easy to work with! My only advice for other couples here is I wish we had taken the time to make a specific playlist for the DJ to play, he played great songs but the hour flew by and there were some songs we wish we would have more specifically asked for. Additionally, as compared to some of our other vendors, Vybe Society sometimes took longer to get back to us during the contracting phase - but the level of service and quality of work was so great we are really grateful to have worked with them! It's impossible to convey in words the sheer magic that is Vybe Society. Their performance at our wedding kept the majority of our guests on the dance floor the entire night and literally chanting "one more song" at the end of the night. Working with Vybe Society in the lead up to the wedding was seamless and very enjoyable as we curated what type of music we were interested in. Tasch and team DJ'd and MC'd the ceremony through dinner until the band began playing and every moment of their presence was gold. We had a 7 piece option (2 singers, sax, keys, bass, drums, guitar) and they were amazing! Everyone at the wedding loved them! Vocals we incredible, and just had a great party 'vybe', that got everyone of all ages out on the dance floor immediately. VybeSociety is a large group of performers, so you get a huge choice of combinations regarding singers/various instruments. Our only minor critique is that we didn't get the lead singer we'd requested and they hadn't told us they'd be sending someone else. However, the replacement was very good. They sent us their (fairly extensive) song list well in advance of the big day, and we picked our preferences, and they also allowed us to pick a couple songs off the list. The songs they played lined up nicely with our selections/preferences/style, and worked well with spanning over multiple generations. They have music for pretty much all tastes! Overall they were quite good at communicating, and we never really felt we had to chase them up. They also accommodated last minute changes as we had to move our outdoor reception inside due to weather. They were very good at communicating with our venue so we didn't have to worry about the minutia of coordinating their arrival/set up. Price seemed comparable to bands of a similar size. An absolute fabulous band!! We wanted a live band for our wedding this past October and searched high and low as my wife and I value live music. Vibe Society exceeded our expectations! If you have the budget, splurge and add in a couple horn musicians as it adds such a fullness to the sound. The vocalists were amazing! Catherine was so easy to work with curating our song list and helping us through the process. I would have liked to have gotten more music from them. And I was disappointed that they were unable to play a song I requested during our reception that I thought would have been a guarantee because I put it on our pre-questionnaire, and it is a song (Learn How to Love You by TTB) that is on their own list of songs that is supposed to be within their repertoire.
