I have been going to the underground for almost 2 years now and from the moment I walked in the door this place felt like home.
I stepped into the doors of the underground in May 2021 one week before I was going to go on a 3 month trip overseas. Mr. Ronald was kind enough to let me suspend my 6 week trail and pick up where I left off when I came back. After my first week I was hooked. Any school that teaches combat sports and self defense runs the risk of being populated with egos and machismo but you will not find that here at the underground. Everyone here is like family and truly wants to see everyone improve their craft. There is a lot of talented teachers at the underground and even the senior belts are there to help and not intimidate. You will definitely get your money's worth here at the underground. They will push you with out breaking your spirit.
I feel that I have grown physically and mentally at the underground. It has taught me to push through even when I'm tired and to keep calm during stressful situations. Thank you Underground for a new lease on life.

It's been about a year since I joined this outstanding school. A lot has happened over the past year, but most notable is that my entire family now attends.
We have made some good friends, and learned so much about Krav Maga. My wife, one of our sons who is 14, and I, are now yellow belts, and we all agree that Master Ronald and his excellent staff of instructors have taught us more than we need to know to defend ourselves and each other.
Master Ronald was very recently awarded his 4th Dan in Krav Maga, an accomplishment well deserved. He continues to teach us new and various techniques while allowing us to solidify older techniques as we form muscle memory and a continuously grow an appreciation and understanding of the basic principles of Krav Maga.
In full disclosure, I was NOT asked to write these reviews, and did so only because I really want others to experience the positive impact for their that we have experienced.

I found UKMF 3 years ago after studying and teaching Krav Maga in the military under another organization. Krav Maga at UKMF is definitely better and seems closer to true Israeli Krav Maga as you can get under Master Alain Cohen directly our of Israel. I have earned my 1st Dan Black Belt and am also an instructor. All my kids take classes as well. I highly recommend if you want a challenge, be pushed to you limits and beyond while learning Krav Maga to protect yourself, then go to Underground Krav Maga and Fitness. You won't regret it. More...

They have knowledgeable and friendly instructors who are fantastic with teaching the best self defense techniques in a way that's easy to learn. As a previous practitioner of Krav Maga at a few different schools I have to say this is my favorite!!
The welcoming atmosphere from Mr.
Ronald and all the staff here creates a great learning environment for kids, adults, experienced and beginner students.
The instructors are great. It’s not only a Krav Maga school, the Brazilian Jujitsu program led by Mr. Ricardo is awesome.
My kids and I love training here, come check it out. You won’t regret the experience.

Went to the open house on Saturday and was so impressed that I signed up for a 6-week trial membership.
Went to my first Krav Maga class with Ronald tonight and it was intense.
You can tell he’s passionate about this and he’s dedicated to helping his students step out of their comfort zone and learn the techniques properly. Can’t wait for my next class!

Awesome instructors, fun classes, and one heck of a workout! Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. The instructors are enthusiastic and passionate about what they teach!
It's both practical and intense!
It's also a great team environment! I am a beginner, and I get to practice with other beginners and also experienced students. We all learn together and help each other.
I always leave feeling excited, inspired, and tough!

This is hands down the best place to learn Krav Maga and Jiu-Jitsu in the area. This school has the highest ranked instructors in the area in each of their disciplines. They combine their talents and techniques with unparalleled passion for their craft. Their energy is infectious and is carried into each of their classes.
