We have used The Pet's Home about 3 times when we've gone on vacation.  The first time, we had to unfortunately leave a ill dog that was taking almost ten pills a day.  Laura Mae was in touch every evening with texts and pictures, and, when we got back, we could clearly tell that the dog had been given her medication.The next two times, The Pet's Home cared for our 2 dogs while we were on vacation--once for a week, and once for 5 days.  Both times we had good communication, positive experiences, and the house was in very good order when we arrived home.We would recommend The Pet's Home based on our experiences with them. The Pets Home has done a nice job with our three pets (2 cats and a dog).   2 of the pets require medication and Laura Mae does great with them.  We have asked that mail be brought in and garbage cans be taken out/in=all done without a problem.  We will continue to use this efficient and friendly company. We just moved to Illinois from New Hampshire for my fiance's work. We didn't know anyone at all, but soon found that we needed a place for our 1 year old dog to go during the day while we were both at work. I called The Pets' Home after looking on the internet and finding only "commercial sitters" and huge warehouses, or as they like to call them "daycares". With cement floors and crates for the dogs to stay. Our dog was a rescue, who has issues with anxiety from her previous home and could not handle being in a place like that, too many dogs, too much noise, not good at all. We needed more of a home away from home. My experience with LauraMae has been a fantastic one, our dog Sadie took to her immediately and loves going over to her house while we are gone for the day. Not only does she offer a caring and safe home environment for your pet to stay while you have to be away, but she understands that our pup gets anxious and nervous in new situations and caters to her needs as much as she can. I one one hundred percent recommend The Pets' Home to anyone who needs to leave their pet behind for work or vacation there is no better place in my opinion. More...

Laura Mae and her team are wonderful! Our dogs get anxiety when we are gone but they are always smiling when we get home!They also do other niceties like water plants, pick up mail, and don't mind the addition of the occasional grand-kitty!

We have used Laura for YEARS with all of our pets and always have had a wonderful experience. You can tell right away how much she genuinely loves the animals and will bend over backwards to keep them happy and comfortable. When I first contacted The Pet’s Home, in addition to my own two cats, I had a mother cat and her five newborn kittens that I was providing foster care for. I was leaving to go out of town for several days and was nervous about how well my cats, especially the kittens would do with me gone. From the fist time I met LauraMae during the meet and greet visit, I knew right away that The Pet’s Home was the right petting sitting service for me. LauraMae was so easy to talk to, and her deep love for animals and her passion for her work was very obvious. During the time that I was away, LauraMae sent me daily updates on how the cats were doing along with pictures. There are no words to describe how those daily texts put my mind at ease while I was away… When I returned home I discovered that everything, right down to the finest detail was done exactly to my specifications. The cats were happy and even the mama cat and her kittens were doing very well. It was as if I had never left! I recommend The Pets’s Home to everyone I know who has a pet.
