Tokyo Joe’s Studios of Self Defense in Hooksett, NH began as a Kempo Karate School in 2000, owned and operated by Edward Carr. Since then we have grown into a premier Martial Arts School in New England, offering programs in multiple disciplines, including Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Mixed Martial Arts.

Everyone is so down to earth and great. My boys have never participated in any martial arts, so we weren’t sure how this would work. The first class they separated them and showed them some of the basics before throwing them to the wolves. They have learnt so much already and they love going. Highly recommend going here! More...
