Strike A Pose was absolutely phenomenal to work with and I always recommend them to anyone I know that is getting married. We used Strike A Pose for our videography services on our big day and I can't even begin to explain how happy I am that we decided to go through them. They were pleasant to work with even from the very first consultation. They gave us an excellent deal and threw in a free photo booth, which was great. They also didn't charge us any extra to travel all the way out to Caledonia, Missouri which is where our wedding was held and even came out a few days early to shoot some footage of the venue! When we received our highlight video and full length video, they were absolutely perfect. I was actually shocked that we had over an hour of footage on the full length video! Most places I had researched charged well over $1200 and you only received a 15-30 minute video. Not only was Strike A Pose reasonable with their pricing, but they were absolutely worth every penny! I had used Brandi for my boudoir shoot as well as a photographer at the wedding. I had Chris for engagement and the wedding as well. It was so great to get to work with these two before the wedding. I was super comfortable with them and they did an excellent job. They were patient and did a great job organizing everyone during pictures. We had a decent sized wedding party and fairly large families so it was great they had it all under control. I didn't have to worry about anything all day. I would highly recommend this company. We used the photography and photo booth. Our photographers, Sharon and Larry, were amazing! They were well- prepared with the list of poses we wanted and kept everyone moving. They had great ideas for poses but also adapted to any and all of suggestions. Weddings are stressful but they made the day that much easier. My husband and I just got married in May 2016 and we used Strike a Pose Photography for our wedding pictures and our engagement pictures. They were amazing! Bryon met with us whenever we needed and was very responsive to any questions and concerns. The photographers on the day of the wedding were on time and very fun to work with. We also chose to have a video of our ceremony made. The videographer was great! Even though we only paid for the ceremony package, the videographer went above and beyond and included so much more in the video. I can't even begin to explain how the owner Brian and his two assistantsmade my daughter Brittney"s wedding a magical day she will never forget. .it was 90+out side, but that did not keep them from taking so many wonderful pictures.Our guest had so much fun with the photo booth..and I could not believe in less than 7 days we received a CD of all the pictures taking in the booth. At the start of our wedding planning my wife was looking for photographers, going to wedding conventions, and we found some nice people but no one that screamed yes. Then we met with a reverend that we loved and he recommended this photographer to us called Strike A Pose. We went in and loved them. They offered the perfect packages for what we needed. They set up a Pinterest for us to send in idea pictures and were quick to respond to email ideas. The day of our wedding (12/06/2015) Bryon and Chris were our photographers, Bryon went with my wife and Chris went with me. They were so wonderful. They had us do every picture we could possibly think of. And since there were 2 we got bride/groom pictures done in record time. I don't think anyone knew we even had any taken. And they were all over the ceremony and reception getting pictures of the tables, the cake, the people, us, everything! We used Bryon & his staff at Strike-A-Pose for our engagement & wedding photos, videography & photo booth. I kind of stumbled upon SAP and am very grateful I did! Our pictures turned out better than I imagined, they were a nice mix of posed photos and candid shots. The staff was so great to work with! Our lead photographer, Kris, was amazing! He did such a great job of making us feel relaxed. We were his first engagement photo shoot and you could not tell at all based on his professionalism and the quality of our pictures! I wanted natural looking photos and even though we were using a few props, I wanted images that were truly able to capture how we are as a couple and that is what he delivered for us!
The photo booth was everything I wanted and more! I enjoyed getting a book with our guests' images and messages and loved that the "booth" is an open concept so you could see the venue and other guests in the images.
We had a certain location in mind where we wanted a specific picture and we had difficulty finding that location. Instead of rushing us, or suggesting to skip it entirely, they were right there to help us look for the location!
Our videographer, Jeremy, was such a pleasure to work with. He had really great ideas of what to capture and was there the whole day!
It was apparent from the first meeting that they weren’t just going to be our photographers but would rather take a genuine, invested interest in who were are as both a couple AND individuals and did their absolute best to make sure that came across in our photos. They went above and beyond to ensure that each image captured just that and they did not disappoint!! It meant the world to me and was so reassuring to have them there on our big day! If given the option, I would choose them all over again and really wish they offered more than just wedding photography! More...

I decided on strike a pose as our photograher and went ahead with their full package of photograohy, videography, photo booth and DJ. It was really easy to talk with them and get everything ready for the big day. We ended up using them for our engagement photos and loved it! Everyone loved the photo booth and used it all night. Our DJ played just what we wanted and was really prepped. The photographer and videographer were so sweet and really professional! They were great to work with and had some great ideas for pictures. It rained, of course, right when we were supposed to go outside to take pictures, so we had to change plans and go to the reception site early. It all worked out though and I have some very lovely photos. My only complaints were very small. The DJ kept checking in on me during the whole night to see when we should move on to the next thing. We had met before to go over the lineup of the night, I wish he would have just gone along with the plan instead of coming to me. The photographer also came to me quite a lot during the evening to make up some pictures we had missed. I'm sure a lot of Brides really have a vision of the exact pictures we want and really want a lot, but I am not like that. I thought I had made it clear that any ideas I had were just examples and that I really like more candid shots. But they kept pulling me away for shots. I am thankful for their persistence and how much they tried to get everything I needed, but I ended the night feeling like I spent most of my day talking to them instead of my guests, which is the exact opposite of what I wanted. Overall, they were very professional and kind, and I'm sure most brides would love how many pictures they took. I'm just not a huge fan of posed pictures and would have preferred they focused on taking pictures of the events happening. I thought I had made that clear, but I might not have. We used Strike a Pose as our videographer, and I don't know if I put the right words together to do justice to how happy we are with out video! Bryon the owner was so easy to work with, and you can tell he loves what he does. Jeremy was our videographer, and he did an amazing job from start to finish. He also edited our video and chose a beautiful song and all the right moments to include in the video. In addition to the amazing staff and product, the price was fantastic! I can't say enough great things about our experience with this company!!!
The photographers we had were so nice, funny, and really flexible with us. We ended up adding some extra photos with family that weren't originally discussed and they were all for getting everyone in. We also changes one of the photo locations due to the weather, and they rolled with it like it was no big deal. This made things really easy on us. Plus, we went somewhere they had never shot before, and the photos taken there ended up looking so amazing!!
All of the photos came out perfect! We are having a hard time choosing which ones we want in our photo album and for prints because there are just that many to choose from! Plus, they were available much quicker than expected after the wedding.
The value can't be beat. We had two photographers for 8 hours, got a flash drive with all of our photos (which were over 1100), a 10x10 photo album, and 25 prints. The cost for all of that was probably half of what some photographers charge, and it by no means was less quality.
All in all, i highly recommend Strike a Pose to anyone who is getting married in or around St. Louis! More...
