South Austin Elite Cheer has 2 fantastic owners. My child has had great training over the past year. They will push you child hard however; they will get results. I highly suggest this gym if looking to put your child in competitive cheer, recreational cheer or tumbling. In addition, this gym has started an all abilities cheer squad and has allowed my daughter to be a junior coach. What other gym does that? This is free to the athletes! SAEC is such an amazing, heart-filled, nurturing program. Coach Lauren is a kid-whisperer -- she notices and cares for your whole kid. Not just the physical skills, but modeling good communication and teamwork and responsibility and self-discipline and so much more. She is welcoming, accepting, and kind, and meets kids where they are -- and also knows how to push the kids to be their best, and expects them to excel and to achieve great things. I knew nothing about the cheer world before encountering SAEC, but now that I know more, I am incredibly grateful for my kid to have been introduced to it this way: on a friendly, supportive, safe, positive team.
