I joined this gym for a month using a month pass on Groupon for a little less than $50. My biggest fear was there'd be more people than equipment during the busy hours of 05:00-07:00pm but that proved not to be true. Never once have I ever had to wait for another to finish their set. The equipment is all well kept. The lockers and showers are clean. And while I never took a class, they do have a good variety.The average age here is definitely on the older side. A lot more middle-aged to elderly people than younger. Have not seen any gym rats.Would definitely recommend this place. More...

I've been going to Sky Fitness for about 9 months and I can tell you it is an awesome place. Clean, equipment is always working, staff is fantastic, group classes are a blast (particularly Jordan's Move Strong and 5:30 am Group Power class). Steam room, and hot tub are great as well. I have not used the pool for swimming so cannot address that. Looking forward to their expansion of the facility this summer. More...

I've been a member of Sky Fitness for over 2 years and without a doubt it's the best fitness operation in the area (I've been a member of several places in the area to make this comparison). The employees are very caring and supportive. I've needed special accommodations due to balance and strength issues and I've made such incredible progress with their help. Special shout out to Becky, Jordan, Brenda and Melissa for all their guidance and coaching. The classes are incredibly impactful and really fun and it makes me want to go regularly and thus helps me reach my fitness goals. You really can't go wrong at this place. Becky is also a great personal trainer, pushing me to places I never would go on my own. I'm better today because of her. I have been at Sky for over a year now and really enjoy the MoveStrong classes with Jordan and Justin. Always a tough workout but one that can be modified both up and down for the level of fitness you are looking for. Just got my first massage by Holly, and I thought the yoga at Sky Fitness was the best... Holly is a miracle-worker (very careful/safe/sanitary , uses good amount of pressure, check-in with you, and is just a very nice person). AND as my workout buddy points out, Sky Fitness ALSO provides filtered water, which is surprisingly/apparently rare (?) at gyms... As long as I can afford this gym, I will be going here. HUGE fan. I actually go to physical therapy there with Northshore, and they are fantastic there. Haven't really checked out the fitness center but it looks like they have a lot of things to do and very clean.
