We take our dog here quarterly for grooming and when we leave town for dog-sitting. Their prices are very fair and they do a fantastic job with the grooming. The dogs look like they are having fun at this place. It is a little odd that there are always cats just hanging out in the front, but other than that the workers seem friendly and my dog seems happy and tired when she gets home from hanging out there. Shugrem has always taken great care of our pets. Their rates are reasonable and it's comforting to follow their social media and be able to see pictures of our dogs enjoying their own little vacations.

The staff couldn't be better. I've been taking my dog here for the past three years and I've really seen my dog improve. He has made more friends, he's learned how to sit, and at the end of the day, I can see that he played a lot because he is tired and so happy. Took him to get a haircut but the cut was a little too short. Granted, I did choose from a page selection in which you can physically feel an assimilation to how short or long the hair will be. It was a little rough around the edges and not a straight line in some parts, but I'm not too picky. He needed the cut with this Houston heat. The price really can't be beat. I love taking my dog here. I've gotten him groomed here for about 2 years now, and am very happy to have found this place. The staff is very sweet to my dog and I feel very comfortable leaving him in their hands. I like that they let him roam around the office/hallway area instead of keeping him kenneled up the whole time. Their haircuts aren't perfect, but I'm not picky as long as they clean him up since his hair grows at lightning speed (Bichon/Maltese) For his breed, I have to come about every 5-6 weeks and the staff is usually good about calling me to make sure I set an appointment. It's so hard finding a place to groom a cat! Finally stumbled upon this one and decided to give it a try. Brough my cat in and came back to pick him up in two hours. When I picked him up he was wearing a little bow tie and smelled amazing! The employees were so friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I have used this place for grooming for both my 1 year old pup and my almost 8 year old dog, and have been very happy with the level of service and care of both. I've also now used the boarding for my 1 year old pup and couldn't be happier. Chuck was so happy to see me, but I know that he had fun hanging out and playing with all the other dogs. The prices are awesome as well, very reasonable and the staff is awesome. I'd recommend Shugrem to any and all of my pet owning friends! More...

I had a wonderful experience with my Beagle.  About 6 months ago I had to take a business trip for 3 days and a friend of mine recommended this place. Boy I am glad she did. Not only they took an excellent care of my dog, but also they did a wonderful grooming and best of all Lai Lai was very happy.  I am a regular customer now and I would never change this place.  Their prices are low compared with other big chains and the quality and cleanliness is superb! To me, it's really hard to find good honest pet groomers.. I'll never know how my dog was treated during the grooming service since we just drop our pets off. But this place seemed very clean and welcoming. I really like that they have a chart to ask what cut we want for our pets. And the price was affordable and comparable to others. I checked my dog for any bleeding or cuts which is my biggest concern and none to be found!! This was my first time and so far, so good. Let's hope it keeps this way!! More...

When I first walked in I was very impressed with the decor the place is super cute! The staff is very friendly and they take great care of my very energetic puppy. They facility is very large and great for all dogs sizes small to large dogs. Once of my favorite things about Shugrem is the price! One month of dog care is $100 that's the best rate in town! They also have the cutest van and all the dogs go to field trips on Fridays to the dog park, how cute! I have been taking my dog to day care all summer and I also used them for boarding when I went out of town. Mani had a great time and was well taken care of.
