We are a full service gym specializing in Strength and Conditioning, Boxing/Kickboxing, Sport Specific Training, Corrective Therapy/Training and Weight Loss/Body Composition. We have lots of floor space, both turf and mats, 30 heavy bags, dumbells, kettlebells, free weights, plate loaded machines and cable machines.

I started going to Kicked Up for Physical Therapy treatments through Proformance. I got a free month at the gym by making a donation for a Breast Cancer awareness event and from there I was hooked. The classes are so fun and work you so good. I was new to kickboxing and the instructors make it attainable for any skill level. Then I got into some one one one training with Josh Craddock. My strength and confidence have grown so much. The entire team is so knowledgeable in what they are doing and they make it FUN! I’ve always enjoyed working out but I’ve never quite felt a gym community like this. I’m missing the energy so much right now as we are staying at home but the outdoor classes are helping! David Clark has been my personal trainer for the past three years. David has worked with me on strength training self-defense and boxing technique. We have also worked on flexibility and even some yoga. Over the past number of years I’ve belong to several different gym organizations including Annapolis fitness Edgewater fitness. And Planet fitness. Through these different organizations I have worked with different personal trainers. However I continued working with David because of his knowledge skills and professionalism I have been able to reach my personal goals much faster and with more consistency than I was able to with other trainers. Kicked UP Fitness is amazing and truly helped push me to change my life for the better! Everyone there is super friendly and it feels more like a family than anything else! I mostly took classes with Ben, Brenna and Jason which all have their own way of giving the class. Classes are never the same twice so you'll never get bored! It seems like they are always trying new ways to keep things fresh and yet challenging! Now if you get lucky and have a class with Tony you better get ready for the workout of your life! If you really want to get to the next level I would recommend choosing a trainer to do one on one classes with. Jason Pitt was a great trainer and while my time was limited the workouts with him really taught me a lot and I saw some great results! Kicked Up Fitness is a hidden gem in Annapolis! Ditch the corporate style gyms, go for the place that gives you the attention and expertise you deserve. Given my crazy busy lifestyle, love that there are over 30 classes a week that cater to any schedule. I love burning 1000 calories in an hour. You can compete with friends or yourself by wearing your Polar heart rate monitor, watch your progress on the screen while you workout. I can train with my trainer, stay for a class to get my cardio in and sit in the Infrared Sauna easily if I choose. In addition to the classes, the strength training equipment is awesome, full variety of everything you need. There are also unique tools to take your workout to the next level: ladders, tires, sled etc. Kicked Up has transformed my life. Tony, the owner, is an expert in his field. The team is full of trainers that push you beyond your limits but individualize their approach to YOU. I'm constantly being reprogrammed so that my body is always being challenged in new ways. I've lost 28lbs in 12 weeks. The mind, body and spirit transformation has been a gift. I've tried everything, including multiple gyms. I've never had such success until Kicked Up. HANDS DOWN best gym in Annapolis (and surrounding areas). I've always joined larger/chain gyms, but joining Kicked Up was by far one of the best decisions I've ever made. From personal training sessions and fat-loss challenges with Brenna, boxing classes and bootcamps with Wolf, classes with Ben, working out with Megan, and Tony's always useful tips and tricks, I would never think about going to another gym. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I always start with a movement screening and and address any muscular imbalance. Then we proceed with a detailed work out program that is based on the top 3 goals that we pick together.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Hard work, consistency, self care, sufficient diet.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to help people change their lives and their perception of the gym environment.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own weightloss and fitness journey inspired my career change from the Hospitality industry to the Fitness industry.
Why should our clients choose you?
I write very detailed and appropriate programs. I am patient but tough with my clients. I am sensitive to injuries and have the knowledge to correct or rehabilitate many of them including hip, knee, shoulder, and back issues.
