When I moved to town I didn’t know anyone and was having trouble balancing a small child and even taking a shower. The kind employees at child watch and all throughout the Y took great care of my son and it allowed me time to workout, shower, and even make a phone call or two! ! As my son grew, he became more familiar with the teachers and other kids, and we both made some great friends. The facility is clean and well stocked and pretty much always in good order. Thank you! I am sorry that everyone else's experiences haven't been so great, but all in all I really love this facility. For the most part, the facility strives to keep it clean at all times. When you go there on a consistent basis it is nice to interact with other members and a cohesive environment forms as we are all there for different reasons, but it is nice to walk in and people are supporting you through your work outs. I have, however experienced some abruptness and rudeness at the front desk, but overall there are some who are very friendly and love providing exceptional customer service. I love their programs at the Y and their equipment is okay, sometimes malfunctions during a work out like the ellipticals. The prices are reasonable for the quality you are receiving. The environment is relaxing and I feel amazing after I just get up and go even if I feel tired and unproductive. More...

Ive been to gyms new and old in the area. The Y is the most useful for me.
The classes are the best I've Attended. There is also ample equipment.
You get no pressure to hire a trainer. Respectful of older people. Wotth thr cost of admission!

This is a nice gym. It has 3 floors and 2 pools. They have circuit training, an entire room of cardio equipment - each unit with its own TV, and free weight room for traditionalists.
