We have sent 3 dogs through Provens board and train, and also board with them when we go out of town! We can not say enough good things about Tara and JJ and the trainers in DFW! They care for our dogs like their own, and we never have to worry! Recently, we sent our youngest pup through the 4 week program so he could learn boundaries around our new baby. My pit/dachshund mix, Penny, completed the 4-week board and train program with Sammie a couple months ago. We had the best experience with her and the whole team. They are truly passionate about what they do and treat their pups like their own family. Penny left with so much confidence, new tricks, and some much needed coping skills. Sammie is truly a miracle worker and is not afraid of a challenge. She is incredibly patient and takes the time to learn the personality / needs of each dog she trains. Since the 4-week program ended, I have boarded Penny once and she was so excited to be back there and to see everyone that loved and cared for her for 4 weeks. We cannot recommend them highly enough for dog training! Our 2 year old male goldendoodle Chewie went through in house training, group training, and a different board and train and we just weren't getting the results we wanted. Chewie was stubborn and not listening consistently. We weren't even sure we wanted to do any more training because we had already sunk so much into it without getting us what we want. We finally decided we needed one more try, and we are so glad we did! We were able to come see the facility and ask all the questions we wanted to, and our trainer Emily took such good care of our dog. We got regular updates, pictures, and videos and no other trainers we have used or talked to were anywhere near as communicative. And now Chewie can be categorically called a good boy. He listens, he's calmer, especially around our toddler, and it's so much less stressful for us. We can finally trust our dog in ways we never through were possible. JJ. Is. Phenomenal. I trust no one else when it comes to refining and developing our savages. JJ brought life back to us and our military K9 after we had a bad experience in the sport world. We had literally talked to everyone on the west coast, east coast, and everything in between just trying to get the right knowledge—its just frustrating when you know you need help getting to the end. If I could give this man 100 stars times 100 stars, I absolutely would!! My brother has worked closely with JJ for a few months and I’ve been a witness to the amazing things they produce. Anna Belle is a while new dog. I was abke to cook and eat breakfast this morning and she stayed in place the whole time! Our walk last night was so enjoyable without leash pulling or her trying to dart after other doggos. I am so surprised. she is doing so very well and is behaving beyond my expectations. I left Reggie for a two week board and train completely at my wits end with my goldendoodle. I seriously told them "good luck, we'll see if yall can even do anything with him". He is a new dog. I enjoy my Reggie again! even transitioning to home life has been amazing and I was super stressed to bring him home. 10/10 recommend this place. The facility is awesome and the staff is absolutely incredible. They really do go above and beyond for all of their clients. We had some crazy things come up while our dogs were staying there for training and they were so incredibly patient and kind through everything. We've picked up 2/3 of my dogs so far from them and they've done such a spectacular job working with them and showing them (and us) how important structure is. Jj & Bev walked us through everything and answered any and all questions we had before taking our girls home. I can't say enough good things about Proven K9. We're forever grateful! After some behavior issues, aggression issues, and impulse control we took the leap and put our girl in training. After weeks of research, and poor training choices we came across the highly recommended Proven K9. Tara & JJ both took the time to address my concerns (at all hours of the day and night) come up with a game plan, and get our girl in a program that best fit her needs. It’s amazing what 4 weeks can do for a dog when they have a job and need structure. It’s day 4 and KOKO is THRIVING. She wants to learn, and be rewarded. She shows no sign of aggression towards any of the other dogs, she recalls like a champ once her prey drive kicks in, and she coexists in and outside the home with distractions and other dogs and does exactly as she’s commanded. Slowly but surely we are getting back to a regular routine and it’s been nothing but an enjoyable experience and a breathe of fresh air. As a multidog customer there isn't a day that goes by that I am not amazed by the work, time, skills, and yes, love that my doggos have learned at Proven K9. I have 3 incredibly different dogs with different goals and JJ and all the Proven K9 team have helped make these goals not only attainable but also provided the encouragement to strive for more. Even when I struggle to succeed at a skill, the support and ease of contact allows me to fix whatever I need to fix so my dogs and I can communicate successfully. We took Remi to Proven K9 for her aggression towards other animals. The first day JJ brought in several dogs of different sizes and Remi growled and snapped at them. Our 2 year old GSD, Brock, just got home from three weeks of board and train obedience school with behavior modification as the goal. JJ and Hannah did a PHENOMENAL job with Brock!! Bleu recently completed her 2 week board and train program. I’m completely happy with the results. It’s more than just training your pup. They also go over what your pup has learned and allow you to practice as well prior to leaving with your pup. I received a thumb drive of her training to help me continue the process. Jenna was our trainer. While playing the video at home Bleu immediately went into a sit position when she heard Jenna’s voice! I can’t recommend K9 training enough! More...

We took Maxx, our 1 y/o St. Bernard, to Proven K9 Training for their two week Board and Train program. What a difference they made in his behavior! Maxx had a serious stubborn streak and if he didn't want to do something, he would just lay down. Not good in a dog that will ultimately reach 175-200 LBS.! He's such a good boy! Very manageable and walking with him is the experience we both deserved. As owners, My wife Tara and I are very driven people. We wanted to see others grow with us while giving the best quality service available.

Yes, we offer virtual one on one classes. These classes allow the owner to sit in the comfort of their own home while gaining the knowledge needed to help their dog grow!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have taken all the CDC recommendations into consideration. With mask readily available for clients that wish to wear them our request that our staff do. We have many staff that have chosen to get vaccinated for their own safety and others. Our satiation regiment is far above any recommended guidelines.
